"The most unorganised hotel I have ever been to. Check in is from 3pm and so we arrived at 4pm to be greeted to a huge queue of people unable to get their room as none of the cleaning was completed. Reception told us it would take 30 mins to get a room which was a complete lie. We kept going up and checking and they kept saying another 10 minutes which carried on for 2.5 hours at which time we only received the key to 1/4 rooms I had booked. Other guests we spoke to waited over 4 hours for their room key. We were given one soft drink as a concession for this which I thought was unacceptable. Instead of waiting around to be told further fake waiting times, we left the hotel to go back to town and then on returning at 11pm, the new receptionist had no idea about the issue and struggled to find our other rooms we had been waiting for, resulting in more waiting around after already being frustrated about the situation earlier. Eventually the receptionist from earlier appeared in a very dismissive manner and shoved a post it note with our remaining room numbers for the man to find. Not good service at all. The next day we booked a shuttle bus to the airport. We got to the designated spot and they had run out of room on the bus despite us pre booking. This means we had to wait another 30 mins for a bus to be organised resulting in us having less time at the airport to get through security etc. The actual hotel is fine with a nice pool area (one of the reasons we had booked but were unable to use due to no room access for hours on end) but the management of this hotel is atrocious. Wyndham need to look at this urgently as it is dragging down their name as a trusted hotel chain. I will never be staying at a Wyndham again if they can’t guarantee a stress free experience."

"I found a little gem!! If you are looking for reasonable priced hotel stay before your flight the next day, this is a great place! Very clean, friendly staff, and close to many things that is 15 to 20 minute walking distance to fast food, to great sit down restaurants and souvenir shop. They do offer a small breakfast buffet, both American and Costa Rica style, and it was wonderful. They are will to help you and guide you to some great places to eat. The owner and wife are very friendly and kind also, always asking if you need anything. Not overly friendly, just always wanting to make sure my stay was great! Rooms: Very clean and simple rooms. This hotel looks fairly new, like a few years, and it still shows that new feel. My room came with a refrigerator and small sink with plates, glasses, and silverware. And it came with a great view!"

"Our booking was confirmed by the owner the day before arrival, after a 4 hour drive we showed up to closed gates. A few phone calls later (thankfully our driver stayed with us and assisted) we were told booking was not available as she had no rooms and was closed. Terrible service, if we had taxi’s or arrived later in the night what would we have done. Had to pay a large amount to get a room down the street at a Hotel."
