"Check-in was quite fast. Do note that a deposit is required. Lobby was undergoing renovations but it wasn't too bad. Other than the lobby (cos reno), it really is a very beautiful property.
We opted for the studio villa as we wanted the higher walls for privacy. Room was very clean and spacious, bed with lots of pillows was comfortable for me. Room had two ac units which was appreciated as it definitely cooled down the room faster. Smart TV worked fine with loads of channels. Bathroom (& bathtub) was huge but the water pressure was a bit low on the shower/tub tap although was ok for the sink and toilet. Private pool was clean altho i think the wooden slats may need some maintenance work. We didn't encounter much mosquitoes, maybe there was one or two flying around on our last day.
Our room came with two complimentary daily drinks at the restaurant which is smack in the middle of the resort. Breakfast was semi buffet. During check-in, you fill out this slip for each day for your choice of mains. If you want to change your choice, just go back to the reception desk one day before your scheduled breakfast to update your slip. Although there were 3 time slots, we actually came in much earlier before our alloted slot, and it wasn't an issue. Besides breakfast, we also had room service. The food was delicious and quite reasonably priced. Spent abt sgd12 total for nasi goreng and mee goreng. Something that I've never encountered at any other hotel was we had to sign an acknowledgement form when we ordered in, like to say we received 2 plates, 2 spoons etc. Not a big issue.
The best part of Woda is the staff. From housekeeping to property maintenance to restaurant staff, everyone was super friendly and helpful."
"Check in/out was quick and friendly. Based on the hotel exterior and dim lobby, the room was a nice surprise. Quite big and bright with a high ceiling and modern looking. Room was clean with good aircon and cold fridge. Water pressure and water temperature weren't great but acceptable. TV was not sharp, most channels were kinda grainy but wifi was good. Breakfast spread was varied although on the first day nobody bothered to clear our finished plates even though there were only about 5 guests in the restaurant. Second day was better though, guess different staff working. Housekeeping was accommodating when we requested to make up the room in the late afternoon.
Golden prawn 933/555 seafood was a 5 min walk from the hotel and looked pretty at night with the lights. Besides the seafood place, nothing much else seems to be around the area."
"Room is cozy and the bed is big and comfortable.
Location is acceptable, around average of 10-15 minutes drive from most places. Not the nearest to central area but not far from harbourbay ferry terminal if you’re alighting/ departing from there.
Cleanliness wise, there are some ants spotted in the room.
Overall worth the price but can improve further on the cleanliness."
"Disclaimer: the booking price per night I secured was cheap, considering it was last minute and during peak period.
Upon arrival, property exterior looked nice and worth of the 4 stars but personally that was the climax of it as everything else was sub-par. Swimming pool was decent with a max depth of 1.2m.
In-room experience: toilet seat was broken and there was no hair dryer. The balcony seemed overkill as it was quite sizeable but empty. Perhaps it is for the beachfront vibes but there is a wall covering any view (good for privacy though)
Breakfast: only made it once for the buffet breakfast and the spread was limited. Again, below the 4 star touted.
Service: this is where they saved their honour. Staff were friendly, great, and accommodating to requests.
Location: very near to the beach and away from city, making it an idyllic place. However, maybe as it is the festive season, 2 out of 4 nights we were woken up by super loud music (and vibrations) coming from the event stage located opposite the property.
All in all, pretty good for a newly opened hotel and at the price point (<SGD80/night) means no complaints. But it is at most 3 star level to me"
"Overall experience was good.Three issues were taken care by Service promptly (TV signal,Hot water kettle,Toilet paper roll).Internet was weak and room was noisy in the evening due to some celebration in the adjacent next property."
"I am very happy for our staycation at king’s hotel. I like the environment there and convenience to go anywhere in Batam. The hotel very clean. All the staff very friendly. The frontdesk by the name Wawan really do a great job and serve us patiently and helpfully. I will surely come back and happily will stay in the same hotel."
"There is no smell in the hotel house, but the toilet will be blocked and the drainage system is not good. It is quite convenient to eat around. There are a lot of food downstairs. The price is quite cheap. It is better to bring your own toiletries. No"

"Great place, quiet, excellent staff, friendly black cat too🐈⬛️
The place has no lift, but everything was accessible.
They have a good terrace and a rooftop. Can smoke as well and bring your takeaway food to eat, with tables and chairs & enjoy your meal under the calm 🌃🌇🌙 🌟 🤩
The address is a little confusing when you book Grab, indicate the hotel name to be sure and you will see it by the roadside..."
