"We stayed at the hotel right by the pier on the Perhentian Islands. It’s literally 800 meters away for 5 MYR — you can walk, but we had luggage, so we used transport. The room was large and comfortable, very clean. The reception staff are friendly and helpful with any questions. If you’re going to the Marriott on the island, there’s a free transfer to and from it. We really liked the breakfast: the coffee was very good, there were fruits, and the selection has a European style — which suits us very well. The restaurant is also open in the evening: we had dinner — it was fine, but it seemed a bit too much black pepper, breakfast was definitely better. There are European and Chinese power outlets, plenty of them, and tea and water are provided in the room."

"Basic room with necessity provided. This is the second time we stayed in a week. Very clean. Strongly recommended if you are only layover for a night to rest. Convenient as there are mini mart, doby and clinics downstairs. Keep up the good job staff!"

"We wanted a 7 days beautiful holiday and instead it was a dream. Cozy room with breathtaking view and super clean like the whole hotel. Cuisine above all expectations, with attention to ingredients and presentation from breakfast to dinner. The restaurant overlooks the water and it is not uncommon to be surrounded by different types of fish. Julie (owner's sister), was a wonderful host. Thanks to Mark, Karki, Aiman, Muzz, Kumar and Halim (the boatman) for welcoming and treating us like royalty. Cristina and Mirco (Italy)"

"Amazing place! Rooms are cozy and clean, staff was super helpful. The private beach is small but the water is crystal clear. Breakfast buffet was solid, enough to start the day right. The seating area is great for watching the sunset too. Long Beach is only a 10min walk away. Highly recommend!"

"The room was spacious and clean, and there's a great snorkeling spot right next to the hotel. I especially appreciated the restaurant; the food was excellent, and every dish was exceptional. It's definitely one of the best restaurants I've tried during my years of traveling in Southeast Asia. Finally, a special thank you to Paul for taking care of every detail. I'll definitely go back if I have the chance."
BuBu Villa
"We had 3N stay in Bubu Villa and 1N stay in Bubu Resort. In Bubu Villa we had a renovated villa with private pool. This was amazing. The whole staff was incredible and extremely helpfull especially Ching, Wan, Adam and Iqbal. The location was perfect as well. You can relax at the beach and do great snorkelling! I would recommend a stay at Bubu Villa and Resort to everyone!"

"Great location for anyone wanting to relax and properly disconnect. The bed was very comfortable, which made it easy to unwind after a long day. The only downside was the very meagre breakfast — a bit of a shame, especially if you’re hoping for a substantial meal before heading out on an excursion. On the plus side, the property offers SSI scuba courses, and there are several PADI schools nearby as well, making it a convenient base for divers of all levels."
