The room is large, with a courtyard, and a little bit of a Maldivian feel, but no hair dryer was found. The food is good, the taste is OK, the ingredients are fresh, and it is slightly more expensive than other nearby restaurants. The service is still quite enthusiastic, especially the on-demand food service staff for breakfast, who are very enthusiastic and proactively ask if there are any dishes that need to be ordered. Proactive service is precious and feels very good. However, the front desk service is perfunctory, seemingly enthusiastic but not solving the problem. After waiting for a long time, no one took the initiative to tell us that we can check in. We went to the front desk to ask, and a few chatty waitresses smiled and said that it was ok now. When we left, we missed the boat because the front desk arranged to wait for the water taxi. Obviously, we were very anxious and asked many times, but the front desk told us that there was no problem. The boat is often late. I asked them to call the shipping company to inform us that we have not boarded the boat yet, and I guess there was no communication. I was speechless. The service to customers should not be just superficial enthusiasm. I hope to really solve problems for guests instead of creating problems.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Good restaurant. This hotel isn’t cheap, but one of the best hotels on island. Nice beach, good cocktails and small snacks during happy hour served just to the beach

Lady6cOverall, our stay at Ombak was decent as it had pretty much everything you need from a hotel, it's just very basic, so don't expect luxury. The room is quite dark; they should really work on that, and the furniture is a bit old for my taste. The breakfast isn't great at all, except for the pancakes which I did enjoy. On the plus side, it's not far from the jetty and located in the quiet part of Coral Bay, where you can arrange many excursions. However, I don't think it offers good value for money, as for the same price, I could get a 5-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur. I find that hotels on the Perhentian Islands are very expensive for what they are, which means people don't stay long, and that's a real shame because these are truly paradise islands.

I arrived alone with my suitcase by boat. Upon arrival at the dock, I was immediately greeted. I arrived during a period when the islands are considered off-season, but they're still open. The hotel is fantastic, nothing to complain about, especially the room which was very spacious and right across from the pool.
Furthermore, you can trust their photos.
