ABC Hotel Porto Campanha
"Need to go uphill to reach the hotel from the station. Otherwise, it’s a walking distance to the main areas. The room was very clean and comfortable as well."
Monte Carlo Love Porto
"The rooms were clean and the hotel was really cheap. Location was pretty good as well, subway station 300m away. But the staff at the hotel was really unpleasant to deal with. They don’t speak a word of English. When we came to drop off our luggage we had to wait for about 10 mins before they opened the door and they didn’t even let us stay in the lobby until the check in and were pretty rude during our stay."
JAM Porto
"The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. However, it’s a bit far from the main tourist attractions, and since there were homeless people near the hotel, I felt a bit uneasy as a solo female traveler. On the bright side, I really enjoyed the small yoga room."
Thomaz Palace
"Beautifully appointed apartment with everything you need for a stay of a few days. Free parking out in the back courtyard was a great bonus. Location is good - a short walk to the old town & 15-20 mins walk down to the river and right near a big supermarket. Excellent info & instructions provided by Maria & her colleague ahead of and upon arrival, which was very much appreciated. Would definitely stay again!"
Hotel Jaguar Oporto - Airport to Hotel and City is a Free Shuttle Service
"This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way! They offer complimentary airport pick-up and even dropped me off in the city center for free (which was a huge help, especially as a solo female traveler). The driver for the pick-up was incredibly friendly – 100 thumbs up! 👍🏻 The room was beautifully designed and spotless, and it put my mind at ease knowing all the amenities were disinfected. 😊 Plus, the hotel provided a lovely welcome gift (fruit and cookies), which was such a thoughtful touch. I highly recommend it to everyone!"
Easy Host Porto
"It's convenient as you can get there from the airport without having to change metro lines. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the tourist center, but that's within acceptable limits. There's also a supermarket nearby. There are only two shared bathrooms and toilets, so you may have to wait depending on the time of day."
Timbre Heroismo
"Amazing hotel in Porto. Right next door to Heroísmo station. Very convenient. Highly recommended."
Vibrant Host-Campo 24 Agosto
TRYP by Wyndham Porto Centro Hotel
"Facilities: Complete Hygiene: clean Environment: good Service: The hotel is generally in an average location. It is in a slightly remote place with a lot of American tourists. It is a business and leisure hotel. The front desk service is basically good and the English communication is good."

Vila Gale Porto - Centro
"Just returned from a 3 night stay here. It is definitely not a 4* hotel but it has everything you need for a decent break. Let’s start with the low points, Mario at check in lacks the skill and personality for such an important job, first impressions count and he was not remotely interested or helpful. Our room was t ready, that was ok as we arrived at 11am, he said come back in a few hours, we left our cases at the hotel but we had to ask and it was as if we were asking for something hard. Came back to hotel just after 2, still not ready so we went to bar for refreshment and Mario said he would let us know when ready. 3.05pm no sign of Mario so husband went to reception and he had forgot about us! The good points, rooms although basic were clean and bed was comfortable. All rooms are air conditioned which was very welcome in the July heat and a small fridge stocked with mini bar items, but we used it for keeping our own drinks cool. The breakfast was very good and varied although the dining area can get very busy. There was a lovely pool to help cool you down but we had to book a time slot but it has amazing views of the city. Although this hotel isn’t in the centre of Porto it is a brisk 10 minute walk to lots of fabulous restaurants and the amazing sights that Porto has to offer! Overall I would stay here again as it reall"
Oporto Maison Anselmo
"reception is quite helpful, environment is cozy."
Jualis Guest House
"The location is great, halfway between the bus stop and the city center, and both are within walking distance. The hotel combines the best of a guesthouse with clean rooms and everything you need."
Acta the Avenue
"The location is very convenient, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The hotel is very clean and new, exceeding my expectations, and it even has a balcony, so I don't need to go downstairs to smoke."
Oca Oriental Porto Hotel
"The front desk staff of the hotel had a bad attitude towards Chinese people. We booked a twin room, but we were given a king-size bed room. When we got to the room, we saw that the twin room in the isolation room had just been cleaned up by the staff. We wanted to move to a twin room, but the front desk refused. We asked to change to a twin room the next day, but the front desk staff said no. We asked to check out but it was not allowed. We have stayed in many hotels and have never seen such service. In addition, the room is very close to the driveway and the noise is very loud."
Artcore Hotel Porto
"The Artcore Hotel has been one of the best hotels we've stayed in worldwide. We must highlight the friendliness of the entire team, from Ines at check-in, Patricia and her colleagues at breakfast, Bruno at checkout, and every single person who works at the hotel, taking care of even the smallest detail. It's the little touches that make all the difference compared to other hotels. The hotel, which opened a few months ago, is characterized by its unique, art-centric design. It's perfectly decorated, with attention to every detail. The room is very comfortable, including a complimentary minibar, a very large and comfortable bed, underfloor heating, etc. You'll want to stay in your room and never leave. The à la carte breakfast is spectacular, prepared with the highest quality ingredients. The hotel is a 2-minute walk from the metro and a 10-minute walk from the center of Porto. It's in a quiet area with many cafes and restaurants. Their rating is completely deserved; they deserve even more. If we return to Porto, we will definitely stay here again. Thanks again to all the staff for always taking such good care of us. You're the best!"
The Editory Garden Porto Hotel
Vila Catarina Luxury Apartments
"What a find. These relatively new apartments are fitted with first rate equipment brands such as Siemens. I can only speak for the Penthouse but this had two large bedrooms, a very large balcony with sun beds and a table and chairs. The sun hits the balcony from lunchtime onwards. The kitchen was equipped to a high standard including tea and coffee machine and the lounge was quite large. The Air conditioning, needed even in October, was very effective. Each morning at 8 am two trays of food were delivered for breakfast. ( there were 4 of us staying in the Penthouse) These included, croissants, rolls, butter, jam, ham & cheese, milk, fresh orange juice, coffee pods, fruit, yogurt and pastries/cakes which varied each day. This breakfast was very substantial. The staff were wonderful and on arrival showed us the Gym, outdoor swimming pool & Sauna. There is an area outside for relaxing as well as an indoor lounge. I cannot speak too highly of the staff. All positive, just be aware that this property is a little way out of Porto. In walking distance of the City if young but for older persons like me transport is essential. Busses run from outside the property, the Metro is about 6-7 minutes away but we used Taxis. An ordinary taxi would cost on average €7 but use Uber and pay just over half this amount. Taxis by far the best option for 4 persons. Local restaurants did not appeal to us - looked a little run down and not well patronised, so it was a taxi to the City each evening for us. Overall highly recommended."
