"The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The “garden view” was of a construction pit. Staff was kind and overall a good stay on a budget. We left before breakfast so not sure if it was good. The hotel was quiet and we could not hear the outside noise. A little hard to find"

Oporto Near Apartments

"One of the worst places I've ever booked a stay. I booked to stay last Friday, 11/22/24, and when I arrived at the location and the agreed time to check in, I came across a man who was painting the building. This same man contacted the host, who in turn is not at all professional and has no character to be in this business. He told the painter to tell us that the reservation had been canceled half an hour before check in, which meant that if it had been the client who did it, he would have lost all the money from the reservation. Then the host showed up (a certain João) and didn't want to give his full name so that no complaints could be made about him. He said he couldn't do anything about our reservation and that we had to figure it out ourselves. We have already identified the accommodation company Oportonear Apartments with ADECO. In short and in conclusion, I had to spend an extra €400 to avoid being left on the street because Oportonear Apartment takes 30 days to refund the money for my reservation with them, which was cancelled. I strongly advise people not to stay in these accommodations."

"Great guest house about a 15 minute walk or short Uber ride from the main sites in Porto. We stayed in a family room for 2 nights. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. The service from Fatima was amazing, super-friendly and she couldn’t do enough for you!"

"The apartment was beautiful and really nice! We loved the location as it was easy to walk to main areas in Porto! The woman working the front desk however was not very nice nor helpful and did not make us feel very welcome, which is why I only gave it 3 stars."
