"BEWARE - Cozy Lodge has serious deteriorated, with little to no service and regard for the paying customer. Weekends has turned into a local hangout with loud obnoxious music into early morning hours, drunken behavior, no offer to enjoy breakfast (unless lucky to be escom), zero security with gates open all night, etc. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING! It raises the question, why would the owners allow this with zero revenue generated due to no bar, so bring your own, have a party, all at the cost with no regard to the paying customers/accommodation. Will not recommend nor be back."

"The staff are very friendly but that’s where the 4 star experience ends. Lodge is unkept, gardens poorly maintained, bedding and towels old, bed has a topper to hide the state of the mattress, food not 4 star standard, no a la carte menu, no headboard in bedroom, no tissues, no shower cap, windows dirty, stork margarine for breakfast. No filter coffee, just instant. Game drive was laughable, the website promises excellent game viewing, but hardly any game and all skittish and scared because they hunt at this venue. Game driver had such an attitude and stated he’s “just” a driver. Food below par, accommodation way below par, and literally nothing to do. Bar very poorly stocked. Dirt road 11km long and very bad condition. Push to give it 3 stars let alone 4. Very evident everything done cheaply."

"We had a marvellous stay at the Suite. With a very warm welcome by Monika and Dave. We had to get used to drive the 2 km dirt road with our Nissan Magnite. But went Well. Monika made us a nice dinner 3 evenings, so we could stay at the Lodge. My wife is affraid of dogs, but our hosts introduced her well with the dogs. We felt very relaxed an had a wonderful view of this part of Africa from our terrace. Will come back. "
