"The place was exactly what I needed- peace and quiet. I was however a little lazy to walk all the way to the pool. I love how the pool “looks” dirty but in actual fact is the colour of the pool itself. Definitely coming back here to stay longer."

"We spent 3 nights in the luxury tents. First night it rained hard and then quit leaving water pooled on top of our tents. Cheeky monkeys running across the tent roof displaced the pooled water into a woosh on the planked patio area. All outside the tent - I stayed dry. I laid there laughing- what a perfect welcome to begin our African safari adventures! The grounds were beautiful - impala and monkeys running thru while we ate on the patio. At one point those same cheeky monkeys ran over during high-tea to swipe sugar packets. I had a constant smile on my face. Jacks, our safari guide, was amazing. His depth/wealth of knowledge of the flora and fauna was impressive. Knowing the animals' behaviors, he knew where they'd be. He felt like family by the time we left. We saw lions eating a zebra, leopard eating an impala, hippos in the river, giraffes, wart hogs, kudu, impala, zebra, and had a crash of rhinos come storming out of the bush within a meter of our vehicle. The big female turned to challenge our vehicle (Reminded me of a mom chastising someone driving too close to a school crossing), snorted, and followed the others into the bush. There had to have been at least 8 of them, but it all happened so fast, and we were so surprised with their sudden appearance, the only pic we got was of their butts going back the bush. Amazing location. I hope to return. I'm not adding any photos because I want you to form your own memories."

Clifftop Exclusive Safari Hideaway

"This is the best experience of lots of amazing experiences we have had. It was a bucket list experience for my wife so a lot to live up to, however, not only did it meet our expectations it certainly went above and beyond. From arriving at Clifftop we were met by Steven and Gilda very charming welcoming and friendly the perfect start, despite arriving late due to hold ups we were treated to a game drive and what a start, our guide was fantastic, knowledgable and professional, we saw 3 of the big 5, Rhino, Buffalo and even though a glimpse the elusive Leopard. On our return our cases were in our room and what a location the room was fantastic, it had spectacular views of the valley. After a long drive out to Welgevonden and a Game drive we were treated to the most amazing dinner attended by the friendly genuine entertaining staff, who were on hand all through our stay, so praise must go to Nicholas, Patrick, Isaac and the rest of the team for making every meal special. The morning game drives started at 6am so bleary eyed we were met by Tyrone for our first and all subsequent drives, in line with everything at Clifftops Tyrone epitomised the professional nature, joy and desire to ensure we had an unforgettable experience, this he managed to fulfil with his knowledge and skills, he went out of his way to make sure we saw everything possible, nature being what it is we didn’t expect to be treated to so many different awe inspiring moments from Rhinos on the road blocking our way, to sunrises and sunsets full of amazing colours to Lions hunting Warthogs and a herd of Elephant that appeared to come out of nowhere along with coffee and sundowners in the bush. Thank you all at Clifftops for making it absolutely memorable."

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful 7th Hole Golf Lodge. The place was impeccably neat and clean, exuding luxury in every detail. Lady Kitty, the host, was incredibly helpful and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. While the location is a bit secluded and requires a drive to get there, the serene and peaceful environment more than makes up for it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious and tranquil retreat!"

"We booked from the 10-14 July , the place is exactly what we needed as it's beautiful,quite and entertaining for kids. 2 things that made me not enjoy my stay n I hope management will consider. 1. Chalet not well cleaned spiderweb almost everywhere. How does one sleep in such environment, had to clean it up on our second day as we arrived very late in the dark on the first day. Also the coffee mugs needs some serious cleaning or new ones as thet are fiety on the indide too brown.2 Please improve the waiting time for the food at the restaurant it is ridiculous and the thought of driving out on the gravel road also gives you no option."
