We know you will enjoy your stay at our spacious custom home minutes to the quilt & yarn shop, train depot, & downtown. Breath in the great outdoors with the beautiful mountain forest surrounding the house & with the thoughtful, nature-inspired decor. Bryson City is picturesque & beautiful in every season of the year!Our quilt and craft retreat area is on the main level of the home so you do not have to take quilt/craft supplies up any stairs. We have set up a large cutting station (2 cutting mats and several standard rulers included), two ironing stations (2 ironing boards and 2 irons) and several long tables with comfortable chairs for your individual sewing machine or crafting area. Bring your sewing machine, fabric, quilting notions, yarn, scrapbook supplies, or other retreat supplies.Relax in our three living room areas. Enjoy preparing a wonderful meal in our well-equipped kitchens (that's right, there are two kitchens) or on the charcoal grill or take full advantage of the many dining options in Bryson City and surrounding towns. Take in the outdoor sights and sounds from our front porch dining table, covered patio, or backyard firepit. The majority of the indoor decor and furniture were crafted by talented local artisans. The three full bathrooms are en suites in three of the five bedrooms- one on the first level, one of the second level, one on the third level of the house. The half bath is located off the main living room and kitchen. If part of your group needs a little space all to themselves they can enjoy the apartment suite with a living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bedroom with an en suite bathroom.Bryson City is a great town with shopping and great dining options. Our location is convenient to everything. The train depot & Bryson City is less than a mile and the Nat Park is 1 mile. Apt is 100% private & 1200 sqft.Apt sleeps 6. Apt has 2 Bedrooms one with a King Bed, one with a full bed, and there is a twin daybed w/twin trundle bed below in the Living Room. 2 Full Baths. One bathroom has a jacuzzi tub that has been converted to a shower and the other has shower/tub combo. Apt has a washer/dryer, full kitchen, basic cooking utensils, and dishwasher.Apt. has 2 private "covered" parking spaces under a metal carport and an additional uncovered space if needed.Completely private, with 2-3 parking spaces. Private Back Deck and access to large flat yard and front porch with rocking chairs.
