Take a walk around the expansive property, stop to watch the fish in the pond, or relax by the gazebo under the giant oak trees- whatever you choose you are bound to leave relaxed and refreshed.The house is a magnificent 16 room mansion with luxurious finishings and amenities. You'll find gorgeous crystal chandeliers, beautiful refinished hardwood, several large sitting rooms, three original fireplaces, and plenty of kitchen and dining space. In addition to the three spacious suites and four large additional bedrooms there's an entire master wing/bedroom with a marble floor entertaining space, private sitting room, spacious bedroom and huge his and her bathrooms. Please note, absolutely no more than 18 guests are allowed on the property at any time. This is strictly enforced. The really great thing is although it feels as if you've disconnected from daily life you're always just a short drive to all the best that Lancaster County has to offer. And should you decide to leave for a bit (we won't blame you at all if you don't) you'll find all kinds of great shopping, restaurants, and attractions nearby. You're less than 10 minutes from Rockvale and Tanger outlets, Dutch Wonderland, and endless restaurant options along Route 30. Fifteen minutes from Sight and Sound Theaters and only 20 minutes from downtown Lancaster where you'll find lots of really great restaurants, bars, and coffee shops.Because it is a rural area, please be respectful to the neighborhood. We ask that there be no loud music, parties, or fireworks during your stay.The property is expansive (60 acres) so there are stables and a small ranch home on the property that isn't for guest use. Please do not trespass in the stables at any time and respect the family living in the home's privacy (as I'm sure they will yours). I'm concerned about health and purity so you will not find air fresheners or strong scented candles in my units. More about the space…The Loft was once the hayloft for Ammon’s Amish grandfather whose horse and buggy were housed below. Ammon who works in construction, turned it into a lovely open sanctuary with nine skylights and eight windows.We are surrounded by our Amish neighbors who you will likely see wallking, pushing scooters or in their buggies using the farm lane directly beside our driveway. We are just minutes away from many local attractions. The town of Intercourse is famous for Kitchen Kettle Village and horse and AAA Buggy Rides. Also close to the Rockvale Square and Tanger Outlets along with Strasburg Railroad, Sight and Sound Theater and so much more. We are within a few miles of famous Amish cooking restaurants such as Bird In Hand Family Restaurant, Miller’s Smorgasbord, Dienner’s Country Restaurant and Katie’s Kitchen.The loft holds a King size bed - with an amazing mattress by the British makers who make the Queen of England's mattress!There are eight skylights in the unit creating a beautiful atmosphere of space and lighting.
