We enjoyed our stay at Alila. The staff was courteous and helpful all the time. The restaurants were great and the breakfast spread was amazing. The room was clean so as the other areas of the property. The hotel is located at the beach yet close to all the good restaurants and shopping places in seminyak. We would definitely stay here again.

A Luxurious Cliffside Escape: Alila Villas Uluwatu

Alila Villas Uluwatu is a masterpiece of luxury, perched on Bali’s dramatic southern cliffs. This resort offered stunning views, elegant design, and excellent service, making it a memorable experience for us.

We stayed in a One Bedroom Pool Villa, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and well-appointed with modern amenities and an indulgent mini-bar. 

Breakfast was the highlight of our dining experience. The serene cliffside views and a menu filled with fresh, healthy, and delicious options made each morning truly enjoyable. The international menu offered a variety of choices, all prepared with the finest ingredients. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, adding to the overall charm of the experience.

The resort’s iconic cliff-edge cabana was an unforgettable spot to relax and soak in the panoramic ocean views. The tranquil atmosphere throughout the property provided a perfect setting to unwind and escape from the everyday routine.

The staff went above and beyond to enhance our stay. They kindly assisted us in booking tickets for the famous Kecak dance performance at the Uluwatu Temple, allowing us to skip the long lines and enjoy the experience seamlessly. Additionally, we enjoyed premium complimentary resort car access to Savaya Club, which made the journey as enjoyable as the destination. These thoughtful touches truly elevated our stay.

Alila Villas Uluwatu offers a luxurious escape that is perfect for couples, families, or anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable getaway. The One Bedroom Pool Villa provided comfort and elegance. The exceptional service, breathtaking views, and thoughtful conveniences like premium car access and seamless activity bookings make this resort a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the best of Bali.

I have to say, the SPA here, in an open-air courtyard, was incredibly relaxing! I was a bit embarrassed that I didn't have a tip that day and felt a little guilty afterwards. The hotel is completely nestled in a pristine jungle, and breakfast is served right next to towering trees. In the mornings, monkeys 🐒 even came to our room door, over twenty of them – quite a sight! The pool on a rainy day was also especially calming; with the lights, the raindrops seemed like blue sapphires, so beautiful.

As a huge fan of Kerry Hill, while Amankila might be out of my budget, Alila is definitely within reach. My first impression: a serene and secluded resort that exceeded all expectations.
1. Breakfast is à la carte, and for this price point, I wasn't disappointed.
2. The rooms are small but exquisite, with high-end pillows and bedding that feel luxurious and well-designed.
3. The common areas are arguably more beautiful than Amankila. Waking up here feels like being in a dream paradise. I wish I could live here every day after retirement.
4. This is a secluded resort, so if you prefer bustling city life, it might not be for you. It's perfect for couples.

My stay at Alila Bangsar was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between modern luxury and understated elegance, with a design that feels both stylish and calming. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making check-in smooth and stress-free.

The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. I especially appreciated the thoughtful layout, comfortable bed, and large windows that offered stunning views of the city. Every detail—from the quality of the linens to the amenities provided—reflected a high level of care.

One of the highlights was the infinity pool, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view and a peaceful atmosphere to unwind. The dining options were also impressive, with delicious food and a well-curated menu that catered to different tastes.

The location is another major plus, conveniently connected to public transport and close to key areas, making it easy to explore the city.

Overall, Alila Bangsar exceeded my expectations. It’s an ideal choice whether you're visiting for business or leisure, and I would gladly return for another stay.

The hotel's public areas are beautifully designed with a strong Oriental aesthetic. There's a stunning 'Tree of Life' on the terrace (that's what I've nicknamed it, I'm not sure of its official name), and a shallow reflection pool that looks equally beautiful day and night. The bar has a fascinating multi-level, interconnected design that creates a real sense of depth, and the color scheme is just perfect. The staff all have a refined demeanor; it's clear they're carefully selected and experienced in serving high-end guests. The bed is comfortable, and you can choose your own pillow preference. The butler service is excellent; my butler, Miana, was fantastic. She sent me a list of hotel facilities and activity schedules, and even gave me a souvenir with the hotel's logo. When it was cloudy and rainy, she messaged me on WeChat to remind me before I even woke up – truly exceptional service! The minibar and fruit in the room are complimentary. Overall, the hotel's service philosophy is to do everything possible to meet guests' needs. Of course, the hotel is quite expensive, but you absolutely get what you pay for; it's worth every penny! I highly recommend it to anyone who frequently stays at luxury hotels when they visit Shanghai. It's really excellent! Highly recommended!
