Location is great and near train station , but to other destinations is a little far. Still very convenient. Staff is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is generous with giving towels and water. Water is not given by default for some reason. Housekeeping is done every 3 days normally but you can request for Housekeeping. Overall it is very good value for money

This is my first time traveling in Japan, I have been to two hostels earlier before this hotel, I can say that Daiichi Inn is my favorite and definitely worth the price. Very clean, the room is perfect size, nearby Ikebukuro station which is easy to travel around. Many restaurants and shops. The staffs are really polite and can speak English. You need to tap the keycard in the elevator to go up to the floor. Safety 👍🏻 I will come back to stay here again if I visit Japan next time.

Facilities: We booked a larger room, and it was indeed bigger than the standard one, offering a view of the Tokyo Tower. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and combs were available for self-service at the mini-bar, but no skincare samples were provided. The Japanese-style bathroom with its wet/dry separation was excellent.
Cleanliness: Generally clean, though the carpet had some minor stains.
Service: Self check-in, self luggage storage, and self check-out were all available. Umbrellas could also be borrowed.
Environment: The surrounding area is upscale with high-end shops, a supermarket, and a convenience store. There's an eel restaurant famous for being featured in Detective Conan, and nearby yakitori and yakiniku restaurants, all on the pricier side!

The reception is conveniently located on the 6th floor of the building right above Akihabara subway station's exit. The front desk service was excellent, offering amenities like luggage weighing. The room was quiet and clean, albeit a bit small, but for this price in Tokyo, you probably won't find much bigger. I checked out a little late, but you can extend your stay beforehand for 1500 JPY per hour. Overall, a great hotel experience!

The location is quite close to Shimbashi Station, but it's still a 5-6 minute walk. It's not particularly close to the center of Ginza; walking there takes about the same amount of time as taking public transportation. However, it's very close to Don Quijote! Most of the good restaurants in this area are near the station, in Yurakucho and Shimbashi.

The room is a bit small; we could barely open two suitcases. The best part is the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, and the large bathtub. It was very comfortable to soak in it every day after coming back. The soundproofing in the room was also quite good; we hardly heard any noise.

This a last minute booking, decide to come back early from Nagoya. I have another booking with a bigger room and they actually upgrade me for this one night so that I do not need to change room after, so considerate of them. Very much appreciated.

Hotel is within 15 mins walk from Tokyo station which is very handy, 4 mins walk from subway station, next to a very good ramen place.
It is very clean and tidy, cleaning service is amazing , we got new towels and bed made everyday. 
The only difficult thing is you need to get to level 14 in reception then change lift to go down to your room level. 
If we could get iron and ironing board would be amazing .

I booked a deluxe room, and the bathroom was indeed quite luxurious with marble finishes and a view from the bathtub. However, due to the sofa and table, the actual room space was very small, and I couldn't even open two large suitcases. I would have been better off booking the 32 sqm room type. In the following days, when I moved to a 32 sqm room, I could easily open three suitcases.

After check-in, I found there was no drinking water in the room. When I returned to the hotel late at night, I went to the front desk to ask for some. At that time, only an older Japanese male receptionist was on duty. He refused to give us water, repeatedly insisting that there were two bottles on the room table. We had to haggle quite a bit to get four bottles, but he only gave us two. This was a big drawback.

The second time we ran out of water, I went to the front desk again, and this time a female staff member readily gave us four bottles. The third time I went to get water, I encountered the same stubborn male receptionist. However, we asked the female staff member next to him for four bottles. Even while he was assisting other guests, he still managed to interject in Japanese that only two bottles should be given. But the female staff member spoke up for me, explaining that our room hadn't been cleaned that day, so no water had been replenished, and then she gave us four bottles.

I chose to stay at this hotel for a weekend. First, the location is great – very convenient for getting to Ginza, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, plus it's right next to a theater.

The room was a bit cramped. It would be fine for one person, but for two, it would be quite awkward. There was a massage chair in the room, but I didn't get around to using it during my two-day stay. The bathroom has a shower, which was acceptable.

The breakfast offered a good variety of dishes, but the portions for each item were very small, which made me a bit hesitant to serve myself. I can understand that they might be trying to avoid waste. On the bright side, the bread was replenished very promptly, and there was a coffee machine where you could make different types of coffee.

Near the front desk, there were complimentary tea bags and lotions available. Overall, the service attitude was excellent – very friendly and polite. Next time, I'll opt for a larger room.

The hotel is located on the 33rd floor and above, and it's a bit old-fashioned since you still use a key to open the doors. However, it's very clean and well-maintained. The service was also good; when our first room had an odor, they quickly and efficiently moved us to another one. What's truly recommendable are the stunning views from the hotel window! On a clear day, you can see Ginza, Tokyo Tower, and Mount Fuji all in one frame, which alone makes the room worth the price.

We didn't have breakfast, but there are several convenience stores and sushi restaurants on the first and second floors of the office building downstairs, making food and drinks very convenient. In the morning, you can take a leisurely stroll to Tsukiji Market for some food and drinks, and Ginza is also within walking distance. If you're tired from shopping with a lot of bags, a taxi back to the hotel only costs about 30 RMB. The subway station is a bit far, about a seven to eight-minute walk, but it's acceptable, and there's a fantastic coffee shop you pass on the way.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with a direct shuttle bus from Kansai Airport, and direct access to the Umeda shopping district from the second floor of the building. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the hotel staff were very friendly and professional. The room facilities were complete, clean, tidy, and comfortable. Waking up every morning to the view from the window was truly a blissful experience.

The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient access to shopping malls and restaurants nearby, and it's close to Umeda Green Space. The hotel facilities are comprehensive and comfortable, and the service is attentive. Both check-in and check-out are handled by self-service machines, with staff available to assist. The breakfast is abundant, leaning towards Japanese and Western styles. Overall, it offers great value for money, even though the room is a bit small.

Location: 5/5, just around 10mins walk from/to the Osaka Station, connect to anywhere in the kansai region (just around 30mins to Kyoto or Kobe by train); heart of the umeda district so super busy with tons of shopping malls and restaurants in the region,and there is a familymart right opposite the street
Facility: 4/5, rooms are compact and facilities are getting old (but still clean), and be mindful that the hotel are running central air conditioning, so if you cannot adjust it (can only keep it on/off. Also the soundproofing of the room is not that great so be aware if you’re a light sleeper.
Service: not a lot of low budget hotel in Osaka offers cleaning service everyday but this hotel do, so 5/5.

Location: Probably the only hotel located right inside Shin-Osaka Station. You don't even need to exit the station; just head to the north exit and you're there.
Facilities: The rooms are cramped. If you have large luggage, this isn't the place for you. Don't book a queen room for two people – you'll be constantly bumping into things just trying to move around.
Service: Mostly self-service, but there was a friendly guy at the front desk who spoke Chinese, and the service was good.

The location is fantastic; you can see the hotel right from Fukushima Station. There's a food street downstairs and a Hankyu supermarket (definitely worth a visit if you have time! Lots of great, affordable stuff).

When we checked in, staff helped us use the self-service machine, and our luggage, which we'd sent ahead via Yamato Transport, was brought out to us at the same time.

The front desk area also provides complimentary toiletries like toothbrushes and combs, as well as tea bags, for guests to pick up themselves.

The room is small but has everything you need, though you can really only open one suitcase. 😂

Later, we needed to send our luggage to the airport. Luckily, we found a Chinese-speaking staff member, but we still had to fill out all the forms ourselves. I'm not sure why all the guides I read said the front desk would help with this. Since we can't write Japanese, it took us almost half an hour to fill out the three forms.

There's also a really delicious yakitori place near the hotel! I highly recommend checking it out.

The hotel view is absolutely fantastic, offering a great cityscape of Osaka. From the better room types, you get a direct view of a large area of Umeda, including the train station. The decor is European style, though it feels a bit 'knock-off' – like a fake European imitation. The details don't hold up under close inspection, and the cleanliness is noticeably not as good as in Tokyo. They're very generous with amenities, providing a lot. Breakfast is à la carte, suitable for those who enjoy Western breakfast; I found it pretty good, and the bread was quite tasty. There was a musty smell in the room, so overall, it didn't feel very high-end. The bedding was also quite ordinary. Its strengths are definitely the view and the value for money.

Whenever we're in Umeda, the Hanshin Hotel is always our family's top choice. The rooms are spacious, and they even come with a decent-sized entryway. The cleanliness is consistently excellent. Its location is incredibly convenient, with JR and Hanshin lines right outside the hotel. Just two right turns from the hotel entrance, there's a fantastic ramen restaurant with a very noticeable sign. Highly recommended!

Stayed here 2 days before my Kobe cruise and it was good enough to rebook for another 3 days after we returned. The hotel is quiet new and located on top of the sannomiya station, giving underground access to most trains and shopping malls nearby. It's basically the center of Kobe.

Exits are 1st floor to the street and 2nd floor to station. Reception is 17th floor. Rooms are slightly bigger than most hotels in Japan. Even number room gives you the larger massage machine but room is smaller than odd numbered rooms. These have a smaller massage chair but bigger space and faces the port terminal if you have a cruise ship waiting. 

They provide amenities, coffee and tea at 17th floor.

Did not try the breakfast but there is a convenient store on 2nd floor of the station, near the hotel exit - lots if
 sandwiches and snacks here. There're hundreds of restaurants and malls underground and you'll get lost most of the time so look for entrance A1 and A2 to get back.

Airport bus from kansai stops 200m away and bus to the airport departs 100m from the station. Most of the highest rated restaurants are not more than 400m from the hotel.

I'll definitely stay here again.

This stay was in a Japanese-style room. The layout was conventional, not very spacious, and a bit dated, but the cleanliness was good. The hotel's two elevators are quite small, leading to long waits during peak hours, which is inefficient. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and noteworthy.

The bathhouse is divided into public and guest-only sections: the public bath on the 2nd-3rd floors doesn't provide towels but has lockers; the guest-only bath on the GF floor offers hand towels but no lockers, so it's advisable not to bring valuables. Overall, the experience was decent.

The hotel's hillside location makes walking a bit inconvenient, but they offer a shuttle service to the station! You can call the front desk to book it!
