I really liked this hotel. The rooms are clean, and they change towels if you leave them on the floor (there's a sign in the bathroom explaining this). The breakfasts are excellent with a good variety of cheeses, vegetables, and pastries. There's also a lean towards Indian cuisine, but Europeans won't go hungry either. The pool is clean, and they provide towels. There are tennis courts on the property.

The hotel is a convenient 10-minute walk to the airport, which is great for transit layovers. However, we stayed during a tennis tournament in February, and the walk to the tennis courts took about 12 minutes. The metro is about a 15-minute walk away.

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

My stay at Mövenpick was honestly amazing and one of the experiences I truly enjoyed from start to finish 😍✨

The hotel is right in the heart of JBR which makes everything so easy and convenient. There is a great selection of restaurants all around 🍽️✨ and the whole area is full of life. The beach is only a short walk away 🌊☀️ and the view of Dubai Eye from there is just beautiful 😍🎡 It adds such a special feeling to the whole place.

The room was spacious and very clean 🛏️💛
Everything felt comfortable and relaxing and it really gave me that proper holiday mood.

We had a pleasant stay at Movenpick Hotel. The staff are courteous, polite and very helpful. Specially i must mention Hussain, Rahul and Vinayak. They were very accommodating and helpful. 
The location is in Bur Dubai, which is quite close to all main attractions. However you will have to use a taxi to get everywhere. Closest Metro is probably around 1.5km away. But taxi is easy to get. They have complimentary Chocolate Hour every day 4-5 pm.
All in all very pleased with my stay. Will come again.

High EQ staff, genuine Kindness here, Sabina at reception, Nancy at security.  Observed over my stay that they are very nice with all guests.  Especially wheelchair guests.

The Hotel is located at the edge of Dubai North, its  the closest 5 star hotel to Almamzar beach ⛱️

I'm very satisfied with both the price and the cleanliness of the environment. The staff are even more conscientious and responsible. I'm extending my stay for a second day today, and I'm definitely writing this review. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure vacations. it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was even upgraded to a room with a stunning view.
The room itself was spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the amenities — including high-speed Wi-Fi, complimentary water, and quality toiletries — added a thoughtful touch.
I especially enjoyed the on-site restaurant, which served a delicious breakfast buffet each morning with a wide variety of options.

It is a good hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable. The water pressure though, was a bit disappointing. 

The f&b was average although the desserts were to die for. The breakfast layout was intuitive for me.

I needed a place to rest, and this hotel exceeded all expectations! The staff were incredibly attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Check-in was quick and smooth, which made the start of my stay effortless. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking truly mind blowing.

We love this hotel apartment the moment we arrived. Even before we finish unloading our luggages, the porter is already out and helping (two thumbs up) At the reception, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and throughout our stay, everyone we meet from Mövenpick are kind and helpful. Our 2 bedroom apartment is big. Both rooms are spacious and comfortable, clean and spotless. 
There are several 24hrs convenient stores, supermarket around the hotel vicinity. A minute walk down the road is the entrance to Dubai Mall, may restaurants and shops.
Location of this hotel is just perfect.

The hotel is clean, the breakfast is good, and the location is convenient, but it’s definitely not a 5-star hotel. 
At check-in, we were told that nothing was required to visit the spa. When we arrived at the spa, it turned out we had to buy a shower cap for $10. Do we have to buy a plate at the restaurant? Or a pillow in the room? 
In short, we went back to the front desk, and they instructed the spa to give us shower caps. The spa employee handed us damp, smelly caps. I went back to the front desk for an explanation, and they said they hadn’t called and didn’t know anything about it. 
An apology was offered only in the morning. No complimentary gift, compensation, or anything of the sort followed. My mood was irrevocably ruined. I received no response to my letter. It’s a shame that the hotel employs such incompetent staff. The only pleasant person who met the standard was the doorman; I wish I had asked his name.

A modern and clean hotel conveniently located across from a park. Public transport is very accessible, with a train and bus stop right outside, and several shops and cafés just across the street. The main attractions can be reached in about 30 minutes by public transport.

The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. However, the breakfast was somewhat disappointing — it lacks variety, especially for international guests. I stayed for five nights and found it repetitive by the third day. Recommend to book without breakfast unless you enjoy traditional Turkish breakfasts and fresh breads.

It was our second time at this hotel, and everything was perfect—from the warm welcome and early check-in to the cleanliness. The breakfast was amazing, and we will definitely visit again soon. The hotel is also very conveniently located, close to the metro and various bus lines.

The staff proactively brought my luggage to my room and introduced it to me. The room, which didn't have a view of the historical building, was quiet and comfortable. I really liked the Mövenpick toiletries; they weren't slippery and the cleaning power was just right. It's also very close to the food street and pedestrian street—just one underground passage away. The convenience is quite good. If you couldn't book a bay view room at the last minute, you can try staying here.

It's a really nice, happy and peaceful place. The staff is friendly. The market they direct from outside is really a rip off. Never buy it yourself.

Very disappointing experience. This hotel simply does not meet the standards of a 5-star property, mainly because of its front desk and sales team.

We originally booked three rooms. Based on the room rates available, upgrading to a 3-bedroom villa should have required only around RM100 in additional payment. However, the front desk insisted on charging us more than RM1,000 extra for just one night and refused to negotiate or offer any reasonable solution.

The problems continued during check-in. We had booked two king rooms and one twin room, but instead of informing us that the twin room was unavailable, the staff simply asked if we could accept another king room. When we declined, they suggested that we pay even more to stay at their other Mövenpick property instead of taking responsibility for the issue.

The biggest disappointment was the front desk’s lack of professionalism and problem-solving ability. Every time we made or extended a booking through Trip.com, the platform confirmed our reservation and payment immediately, yet the hotel repeatedly claimed they “couldn’t see the booking” and asked us to contact Trip.com ourselves. We spent hours at the front desk on multiple occasions waiting for them to sort out issues that should have been handled internally. Every extension became the same frustrating process.

To be fair, not all staff were bad. The buggy service team and most other hotel employees were friendly and helpful, and one gentleman at the front desk who wore glasses was polite and professional. Unfortunately, everyone else at the front desk, as well as the sales team, left a very poor impression. The villa itself was comfortable, although the housekeeping could have been more thorough.

At this price point, I expected a smooth and professional 5-star experience. Instead, we experienced poor communication, weak management, and constant frustration. The excellent service from other departments could not make up for the failures of the front desk and sales team.

I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to the front desk management, staff training, and customer service.

This Mövenpick hotel offers great value for money! The prices are reasonable, and both the facilities and activities are of a good standard. My favorite was the infinity pool – I could spend an entire day just relaxing by the pool and taking photos. The hotel also offers a wide variety of activities. Joining the morning yoga session, stretching with a sea view, completely refreshed my mind and body; it truly felt like a perfect vacation. What impressed me even more was the quality of the dining! Whether it was the live cooking at the restaurant or ordering room service, the food quality was top-notch, with no disappointments. The dishes were exquisitely prepared and authentically delicious. Enjoying gourmet food in the comfort of my air-conditioned room was a real treat.

However, the one surprise (or shock) was that at breakfast time, I felt like I was instantly transported to Mumbai! There were so many Indian families in the dining area. They were very uninhibited, loud, and chatted away, completely oblivious to others trying to relax nearby. Their sense of appropriate volume in a public space was quite peculiar. If you're looking for absolute peace and quiet during your stay, I highly recommend going to breakfast early to avoid the crowds, or wearing headphones in public areas.
