The hotel is conveniently located very close to Kyoto Station, and they even offer a thoughtful shuttle service to and from the station. The facilities are excellent, with a grand and opulent lobby, and the front desk staff provide smiling service, including Chinese-speaking staff, which was a very warm and welcome touch. The rooms are well-equipped, comfortable, spacious, and bright. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. There are shopping malls and supermarkets nearby, making it easy to get around and find plenty of shopping and dining options. The autumn leaves are beautiful right now, and Ctrip offered a great price.

Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Front office staff are very polite and nice. The room and everything they provided was very good and love their pyjamas motif as really feel very Japanese 🥰 we really enjoyed their tea lounge where all kinds of hot and cold beverages are provided including matcha roll snacks that we ended up purchasing from Kyoto station for gifts home,  after asking the staff there where to get it from. Would definitely return  to Rihga Gran if we ever visit Kyoto again.

Though the bathroom may be modest in size, it still fulfills all essential needs, allowing for a practical yet pleasant experience. The ambiance is inviting, making it a suitable retreat after a day spent exploring.
Strategically located near the bustling shopping area and the enchanting streets of Gion, the hotel provides an ideal base for those eager to immerse themselves in local culture and attractions. While it requires a brief ten-minute walk to the metro, this small trek is often rewarded with the unexpected charm of the surrounding neighborhood. Furthermore, the availability of late-night dining options nearby ensures that guests can indulge their culinary curiosities even in the late hours, adding a layer of convenience and appeal.
In essence, this hotel captures the essence of urban exploration, with its blend of comfort, accessibility, and proximity to the vibrant nightlife that thrives in the heart of the city. It serves as a welcome sanctuary for travelers looking to enjoy the rich tapestry of experiences that this locale has to offer.

We received a very warm welcome from Mr. Miki during our stay at Toshi Center Hotel. He was extremely friendly and spoke fluent English, which made our check-in smooth and pleasant. We truly appreciated his kindness in personally bringing the iron & iron board to our room — such thoughtful service made us feel very well taken care of. Thank you, Mr. Miki, for your wonderful hospitality!

Great location!

Amenities: The amenities are also very convenient. There's a water dispenser on every floor, and the room comes with a kettle so you can fill up. 

Cleanliness: It's quite clean. For a four-night stay, the hotel cleans every other day, but I think you could request daily cleaning if needed.

Service: The staff are all very nice!

This hotel was a fantastic choice! The area is quiet! The shuttle bus service makes it very convenient for getting around. Takadanobaba is on the main JR Yamanote Line, which connects to Harajuku, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro. The showers are also incredibly spacious. It's cheaper than the Tamachi Pullman I stayed at last, and the rooms are incredibly spacious, which is rare. And the view from the window every day. There are also many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. It was a very comfortable stay for two weeks.
I stayed in a suite, which was very comfortable. When I returned, I even upgraded to a deluxe twin bed with a partitioned entrance.

A very good hotel with good sized rooms. It’s within an easy walk from the Shinkansen station. The rooms are clean and reasonably and provide good views of the surrounding area. 
The best experience is at breakfast where the staff provided outstanding service. They do everything they can to please. They are friendly, polite and helpful. They make the overall experience excellent and are well above average. Thank you especially to the breakfast staff, especially the waiters and the people who greet you when you arrive at breakfast. 
More than happy to return, especially with such great staff. 
Breakfast is a mix of Japanese and western food and is well worth a try. The sweet corn soup is very good and is always nice and hot. 
House keeping staff are also very good and are always happy to help. 
The only area to improve would be the airconditioning in the lifts which can be quite hot at times in summer. 
Overall a great experience mostly due to the lovely and caring breakfast staff.
