An experience that exceeded expectations. This is the birthplace of the Blossom Hill Inn. Before my trip, I read reviews saying the hotel was a bit old (because the residence is a family-run business in the medical field and is a historical building, so renovations are not convenient). However, after checking in, I found that Blossom Hill Inn has made great efforts to improve its facilities and guest experience.

First of all, the service was very thoughtful and attentive. Since the hotel wasn't fully booked that day, the staff helped us choose a room we liked.

The amenities in the room also showed that Blossom Hill Inn has put a lot of effort into them. There was welcome fruit and drinks, a Laifen hairdryer, a smart toilet, disposable toilet seat covers, their own brand of toiletries, and a heated towel rack. The breakfast was also very generous.

We returned to the room quite late that night, and the owner even prepared a bedtime dessert, which was very heartwarming. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be the common problem in old town areas—soundproofing, which is unavoidable with wooden structures.

They even prepared a souvenir upon check-out. For this price, it completely exceeded my expectations. I look forward to seeing them again!

The room has a large bathtub. For those who travel hard, it is wonderful to take a comfortable bath at night. The hotel service is also very good, and breakfast is provided. The panoramic view of the ancient city is unobstructed.

Lijiang is a place that can make people soft and calm down slowly, and Huajiantang makes us feel at ease. After walking in the ancient city, we went back to the inn to rest and sit in the yard to drink tea. Whether it is the proprietress, the front desk lady, the brother, or the aunt, it is very comfortable to get along with them. I sincerely recommend it.

Ctrip initial review: The service was warm and welcoming, the environment was beautiful, and the hygiene was excellent. It felt more like visiting relatives and friends than staying at a hotel. A free room upgrade was provided, and drinks, fruits, sweet soups, and hot tea were all readily available. They even took care of my food and transportation in advance. The staff were very helpful in picking me up and dropping me off! 👍 The staff member knew I was going to the mountain to buy oxygen the next day and immediately brought me two bottles, saying they were left by other guests. I used one on the way up, and the hotel returned the other one to the receptionist before I could open it. Overall, a very good experience!

This was my first time staying at a B&B, and it was a really good experience. I chose this one because it's part of the HUAZHU group, and the architecture is very unique. The guy working there was great; my flight was delayed, so I didn't get to the hotel until 10 PM, but he waited for us in the cold wind. The location is excellent, very close to Zhongyi Market. Although the breakfast selection was small, they had warm rice noodles and eggs, which was enough for me. They also offered hot drinks in the evening, and when we checked out, they even gave us a small gift: a wind chime and three bags of ancient tree pu-erh tea.

For more than 200 years, the pure wooden structure building, the yard is simple and not decorated with pompous decoration. Quiet in the middle of noisy, it is very convenient to go to various places in the ancient city. Lijiang in December was a bit cold in the morning and evening. When I came back at night, the store plugged the electric heater in advance, and I was warm when I entered the house. Next time I go to Lijiang, I will choose to live here. I hope I can have more time to drink tea in the yard.

I've stayed here several times, always in a family room. The room layout is excellent, with two levels – an upstairs and a downstairs. The bathroom is only downstairs, which smartly encourages the use of the stairs. The hotel's courtyard view is stunning; I almost felt like I was at the Forbidden City. The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Even during the busy Chinese New Year, when staffing is tight, the hotel's service and management quality really shone through. I chatted briefly with Liu, one of the front desk staff, and learned that she had been working for over ten consecutive days. Despite the triple pay, she was exhausted both physically and mentally. Yet, the quality of service didn't dip in the slightest. Thumbs up to Liu and her colleagues! 👍 Overall, everything about this hotel is outstanding, truly reflecting the flagship brand and top-tier management of Huazhu Club. When I return to Nanjing, I will definitely stay at Hanamaki Old East Gate again. And no, I'm not a shill, thank you.

Coming to Nanjing with my family, choosing this Huajianfu Laiyan was definitely the right decision! The classical style is super photogenic, and the location is excellent; it's just a short walk to Fuzimiao and Laomendong. The room amenities are very thoughtful, with a private mini-fridge that's super convenient for storing fruits and drinks. I highly recommend checking out the rooftop on the fourth floor – the views are absolutely stunning! Each floor has a common area, which is very family-friendly, especially for those traveling with seniors or children. The front desk staff were incredibly nice, like family, and even proactively recommended delicious local food and fun attractions. Our experience was absolutely perfect!

A lovely hotel nestled within the lush Purple Mountain (紫金山)!

The surroundings are green and serene, with a 7-minute walk to Pipa Lake (琵琶湖) and a 15-minute walk to the Zhongshan Botanical Garden (中山植物园). Pipa Lake is free to enter and absolutely beautiful—wild yellow lilies bloom across the water, while the old Ming Dynasty city wall creates a striking contrast against the lake.

The hotel restaurant is nice, its breakfast buffet offers a good selection of quality food at a very reasonable price.

The rooms are clean, and the large bathtub and automatic toilet with a seat warmer are definite highlights. The staff are friendly and attentive.

I would definitely stay here again if I return to Nanjing!

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The hygiene was good, and the room layout was well-designed. The shower and toilet were separate, which was convenient. There was also a vanity table for women, which was super helpful – no more standing while doing makeup! 👍👍 This hotel is incredibly female-friendly.

The location is excellent; it's about a 5-minute walk to the Huangpu River, giving direct access to bustling areas. You can quickly visit Shanghai's iconic landmarks, and Yu Garden is right next door with plenty of delicious food options and even travel photography services.

The breakfast was incredibly rich and diverse. Eating there before heading out for some sightseeing really brightened up my day! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit! 😝😝

Staying at Dongfang Qiancang was such a delightful surprise! This century-old Republic of China-era mansion has an incredible atmosphere and a rich history. You absolutely *must* try the yellow croaker noodles for breakfast – they're absolutely delicious. The service was attentive, and it's a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Lujiazui. It's truly a unique and special accommodation choice for a visit to Shanghai. I especially appreciated the service from Ms. Kyla too~

I have to commend the hardware facilities at Shanghai Senlan Huajianfu Lvyi. The amenities are top-notch, definitely among the best in its price range.
The guest rooms are fully smart-enabled, with electric curtains, lighting, and bathroom fixtures all controlled with a single touch, making them incredibly convenient to use. The bedding is just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the mattress and pillows are of high quality, providing a truly relaxing experience. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, the toiletries are thoughtfully selected, the water pressure is stable, and hot water comes out instantly.

The public facilities are also excellent. There's a 24-hour self-service laundry room with both washers and dryers, so business travelers or those staying for multiple nights don't have to worry about laundry. The gym is well-equipped for a quick workout during downtime. The soundproofing throughout the building is fantastic; the doors and windows are tightly sealed, ensuring a quiet room where you can't hear any outside noise.

In the common areas, the elevators run smoothly, and the courtyard and lounge areas are well-maintained. The facilities are spotless, with no signs of age or wear. Overall, the hardware configuration is both thoughtful and practical, making for an extremely comfortable stay. For anyone prioritizing amenities, this hotel is a no-brainer. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!
