"The small hotel is located right on the road, and Playa Conchal is a 20-minute walk away. The complex is beautifully decorated and features a shady pool surrounded by vibrant plants. The breakfast was fantastic. The service was perfect. A big compliment for the delicious pineapple jam! The pancakes were also delicious. The Papaya restaurant offers delicious dishes and has wonderful service."

"This resort is quite a distance from Liberia Airport, about an hour and fifteen minutes by car. It's a very large property, mostly consisting of two-story buildings (each with 8 suites). All meals are included, but some specialty restaurants require early morning reservations on the same day. The food selection is extensive, but the taste wasn't particularly impressive. The cocktails were also quite weak. The service, however, was top-notch – it was quite hot, and while walking around the resort, we frequently encountered golf carts offering rides. The drivers often pointed out wildlife we encountered and would stop for us to take photos. The resort is right on the beach, and other facilities are also comprehensive. I asked the front desk for a Bala kit, which included a yoga mat and a massager, and it was delivered very quickly."

"My husband and I stayed for 21 days at this 10 room gem. We loved how the owner Jodi, manager Yaz, and house keepers, attendants Erica and Cesia gave us superior service. The rooms are comfortable but basic and dorm-like in appearance. I was most interested in this economic spot that allowed us to spend one month traveling in Costa Rica. AC was cold, mini fridge and daily breakfast -, scrambled eggs, gallo pinto (rice and beans) bread and coffee , served from 8-9 am daily was held at the outdoor rancho pavilion that had a gas grill, stove top grill, microwave, sink and all pans and plates to cook and serve your own meals. How convenient! Many ticos had reunions here since other rooms (not our room 1) had bunk beds, full fridge, and a stove top gas grill w picnic table and hammock. Hotel is on a busy street, The great deal is 15 min walk to the right puts you at Brasilito beach. Continue the wslk on the beach past Camaron Dorado restaurant gives you a beach that rarely had more than a few people here. Yaz was so kind to retrieve and hand deliver my cell phone to me that I had foolishly left behind . She met me at our next hotel in Potrero Beach. Now that is above and beyond service! She also helped me get a refund on a tour we arranged that never picked us up! Jodi got me softer pillows and swiftly resolved a bathroom issue we had. The pool is missing some tiles, but very refreshing to return to each night. Thank you for a comfortable stay. Treated like family!"

"Ok….so lots of lies here or they really drop their standards in slow season. No warm water in the rooms. The pool is warmer! First room we had was ant infested. Second room better….just salamanders. No curtains on the bathroom windows. Is this 1973? Great pool, and swim up bar which never opened. Restaurant/ bar never opened. Beds suck bad. This is basically a nice hostel. Make sure you understand that before booking. People who stayed while we were there stayed one night. That would have been smarter."
