"The small hotel is located right on the road, and Playa Conchal is a 20-minute walk away. The complex is beautifully decorated and features a shady pool surrounded by vibrant plants. The breakfast was fantastic. The service was perfect. A big compliment for the delicious pineapple jam! The pancakes were also delicious. The Papaya restaurant offers delicious dishes and has wonderful service."

The Westin Reserva Conchal, an All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa

"This resort is quite far from Liberia Airport, driving for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The place is very large, mostly a two-story building (8 suites per building). The resort's dining has been included, and some specialty restaurants need to be booked early in the morning. The dishes are very rich, but there is no amazing taste. The cocktail is also quite light. The service is first class - the weather is hot, and when walking in the resort, we often encounter a passenger battery car to take us. The driver also often points out the wildlife encountered and stops to facilitate us to take pictures. The resort is right by the beach and other facilities are complete. I asked the front desk for a Bala kit, with yoga mats and massagers, and it was delivered soon."

Hotel Diversion Tropical

"This hotel was incredibly disappointing and in disrepair. We don't know if it is because the owner is trying to sell it, or just hasn't been around to see its poor condition. The rooms are small, cramped and over priced. Furniture is worn and bed/pillows terribly uncomfortable. We only stayed one of our three reserved nights. We asked to cancel our reservation and receive a refund. We were denied. Nonetheless, we ended up staying elsewhere our last two nights. FYI, there are hotels nearby that are less expensive and much better cared for."

Hotel Nany

"Ok….so lots of lies here or they really drop their standards in slow season. No warm water in the rooms. The pool is warmer! First room we had was ant infested. Second room better….just salamanders. No curtains on the bathroom windows. Is this 1973? Great pool, and swim up bar which never opened. Restaurant/ bar never opened. Beds suck bad. This is basically a nice hostel. Make sure you understand that before booking. People who stayed while we were there stayed one night. That would have been smarter."
