Xinyang Hotels with Breakfast

A large shopping centre (Wanda Plaza) is next door with a huge array of Chinese franchised food outlets alongside KFC and Starbucks. A good spread of affordable to prestige clothing brands as well. Many empty shops, though, point to economic stresses in this market. The breakfast is standard Chinese hotel fare so if you're expecting a range of gourmet cereals and breads you'll be disappointed. Turning to the room itself. No room clock and a huge television screen that turns on every time you put your key in the slot are minor annoyances. The television screen has no apparent access to audio-visual inputs which seems a wasted opportunity to me. I want to watch my own media on the television screen. The room is a good size and quite quiet. The bed was firm but not hard. Blackout curtains work well and windows can be partially opened. I observed that any non-smoking regulation was not observed by all guests. Perhaps in the major markets that's more enforced. There is no laundry service as far as I could tell. The shower stall is my main concern and this might apply only to my room. The drain is VERY slow and the recess quickly fills with water. The floor is flat, so water does not naturally flow to the drain, leaving the shower recess always wet and a potential mould hazard. No complaints from me about the lack of staff who speak English. This is a new hotel catering mainly to Chinese travellers. While I have some concerns about the standard of building construction finish I can't fault the staff for their attentiveness and friendliness. If the location suits you the value is obvious. Note that guest rooms are on floors 18 and 19 so expect to spend some time waiting for the slow lift.

The hotel was great clean and no smell of smoke in room (hard to find in china) staff were lovely, only a couple of negatives i wanted to point out for western travelers theres a little faulse advertising on their page, theres no english speaking staff, theres no cafe and the coffee machine in lobby looks amazing and inviting but there was never milk in it over the two days i was there and finding a good coffee in china is sooooo hard also not the staff fault at all but the room soundproofing isnt amazing no street noises but can definitely hear toilet and shower of the next room

The hotel is opposite the county government. It is very convenient to check in. Xiaoyan at the front desk is very efficient, the service is also very good, the price is good, the first choice for business trips will choose here next time, it is recommended.

This hotel is a good choice for people arriving in Xinyang East late at night or catching an early train the next day. The facilities and breakfast are worth the price of just over 200 yuan; the hot dry noodles at breakfast are delicious. Because it's located by the highway, it's a bit noisy. Although the room was requested to be non-smoking, there was still a smoky smell when I first entered.

A very nice hotel, located on a main road with convenient access, not far from the highway exit. There are many restaurants nearby, and the hotel itself also has an outdoor restaurant, making dining quite convenient. Parking is available in both surface and underground parking lots, with entrances and exits adjacent to each other, allowing for flexible selection. Personally, I found the surface parking more convenient, as it's seamlessly integrated with the elevators and lobby.

It really exceeded my expectations, the price-performance ratio is really high. I'm a local, and I'm always amazed at how much cheaper hotels are back home. Hotels outside cost 200-300 yuan a night, and the room is only half the size of this one, and it's always run-down. I've never booked a hotel better than this one while traveling so many times, and it's much more expensive. I didn't want to leave. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn't very effective at heating; it warmed up very slowly. However, I'm very satisfied with the free room upgrade the hotel gave me 😌 and the projector too!

The experience of staying at the Sicily Smart Hotel exceeded expectations! The rooms are cleaned very clean, the smart facilities in the whole house are simple to operate, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, the sound insulation effect is good, and you can rest at ease. Let me start with the basics. I've only visited Xin County twice, coincidentally both times in the same hotel and the same room. Opening the window, I was greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view of the Huanghe River! A stroll along the riverbank, with a gentle spring breeze, was a rare and delightful experience! A small bridge leads to Xin County Square, the heart of the county! After a busy day, you can drive along the Xihe River to experience its serene beauty and tranquil atmosphere, or cycle through the former capital of the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Soviet Area to pay homage to its heroes and reconnect with your roots!

Very good hotel for business trips, very good hygiene, and the front desk girl is very enthusiastic
