Outstanding
NNehaGreat service and good food. As we entered, the host was welcoming and showed our room. Our room was very clean and they had strict regulations around smoking. Good choice of breakfast options and vegan options were available too.
GGuest UserIf you are not sure where to stay - don’t waste any time looking elsewhere, I can 100% recommend staying at Arran Lodge. We were so impressed with how well we were looked after, a clean and kept room with everything you might possibly need, including a welcome treat - homemade cake, space to park the car outside the house, a welcome reception and the most wonderful breakfast choice! Staying here was a treat and will definitely be back! Thank you for being such great hosts! Anna and Chris
GGuest UserDon’t miss out on this Devonshire Gem
From the moment I arrived, the delightful hosts made me feel very welcome and at home
The bar/lounge area is the perfect informal place to flop down and relax with a well stocked honesty bar, TV and board games galore
Not only was my room comfortable and spotless, but Shona dishes up a lovely breakfast tailored to your own tastes and requirements, she really does make breakfast just for you!
Cosy, clean, and with a warm welcome for all, treat yourself to an exceptionally great stay at a reasonable price.
AAnonymous UserWas nice hotel. Stayed for one night. Room was full of extras like little fridge with water init which was very nice. Nice breakfast apart from the beans 😆
GGuest UserGreat little hotel with ”off the street” -save parking for motorbikes. Top floor room even had sea view.
Very friendly host that took good care of us :)
LLostTravellerThe room we were given was at the bottom of a flight of stairs resulting in a lot of noise disturbance throughout the day and night. The hotel itself feels a little dated and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The fire alarm at 7am was also an unwelcome wake up call.
The breakfast was good, with a decent selection and the general location is good for accessing local walks and the costal path. Parking is a bit of a nightmare and you can end up with a lengthy walk to the hotel when it is busy.
GGuest UserA simply Devine hotel with such historical charm
The charismatic entrance foyer draws you into this wonderful exquisite reception area
We had the upmost pleasure in staying on New Years Eve
& were greeted with a lovely glass of free champagne in letting the New year in
They also had a really good modern band playing the finest of music in one of their opulent rooms
We would grant this very fine hotel a definite 5 Stars experience
Many thanks
GGuest UserThe hotel itself was nice; can’t fault it. Our room however, had a weird, stale smell and was off-putting, with no way to ventilate the room by opening the windows, as you cannot open them - A/C is not a natural ventilation.
Bed was comfortable, slept perfectly fine, just not nice waking up with the smell, as mentioned before.
Breakfast was good, although I’ve had better.
LLaura June RobinaGreat hotel, the room was lovely & so was the pool area! We went on the weekend at the start of half term so there was a lot of family’s there & children. I heard the week is better if you don’t want lots of children around but for us this wasn’t an issue. The hotel is very big & there is lots around. It is also in a great location close to the beach, parks & walking distance from the town. We really enjoyed our stay here :)
