Banjarsari Hotels with Breakfast

This my second stay in last 2 months, just havent got chance to wrote some review. We stay for 2 nights on each occasions, i bring my wife, 3 kids below 9 and my mom. We book executive room, which has small livinv room with couch. Good room size, clean, bright, comfy bed and couch (can accomodate for 1 adult to sleep), but Pillow is too hard so i ask for replacement. Bathroom was also clean and has nice ambience, aminity was okay. Check in and check out process was fast and efficient, staff was kind and attentive. Swimming pool size was good, no slides etc but its okay. I tried their room delivery bfast and buffet. Buffet serve various menu but taste wise is average. In room dining serve good portion and menu variety (i choose american breakfast). The only minus point is locations, surrounded by bus and train station in bit strander area so we need car to reach nearest restaurant or supermarket. But it should be not a problem if you brought car. To conclude everythung, we love our stay in this hotel and it become our favorite in Solo. We usually stayed in Alila but now we prefer Swisbel hotel.

Solia Hotel's location is quite strategic, near Solo Balapan train station, food scene and easy to get anywhere from there. Check-in process wasn't smooth, but it is totally understandable because the hotel was fully booked and many guests came at the same time. But hopefully the management can anticipate this and do better in the next holiday season. The lobby is a beautiful Javanese old building, pleasantly scented, the staffs were friendly and helpful. The rooms are located on the newer building on the back. They provide traditional beverages for welcome drinks. The room was clean, water and AC worked well. Bed and pillow were comfortable although there were some stains and holes on the bedsheets. Door handles of balcony almost broke because of its unusual way to open and close (though the management has stuck the instructions on the door). This hotel is recommended for those whose in budget and need centrally located hotel.

For the first time that im felt very uncomfortable staying at the hotel. First, when you arrived at the hotel, there is no parking lot for all the hotel customer, security only give you direction to park beside the hotel but you should find the parking lot by yourself, and when you want to use your car which is located deep inside parking lot, the security too lazy to help you getting your car out. The bed sheet is stinky and full of dirt. The room service doesnt wait for you to get to the elevator, instead they are going first and you as the hotel customer have to wait another elevator to arrived. Ah, the lobby and almost every corridor of the hotel is too dim.

After driving for more than 10 hours from Bali, we arrived in Solo at Loji Hotel around 4pm by that time. No security available to give us some instructions where we can park, eventhough we saw 2 man sitting at the security office at front. We have to call them very loud to show us where we can park our car. Coz by that time the parking lot was full. We were expecting get a good service, nice room, because we pay IDR 534.649/night with breakfast for Deluxe room. We stay here on the 26th December 2019 and check out on the 27th December 2019. Actually we want to extend the room, but we changes our mind after overnight here with uncomfortable feeling. The problem was : 1. They asking us, do we need a smoking room, we said yes please. We were expecting a balcony or at least we can open the window, but at the end, the smoking room not have any window or balcony for smoking. 2. The AC are so noisy all day long and also the AC is leaking very bad until makes our bag get wet, coz we put underneath the AC. 3. The fan in the bathroom wasn't work well. And very very noisy! 4. The shower looks like never get cleaned for many years. Full of crust. 5. The bathroom is a bit smell and not have a good circulation. 6. We found a blood stain on the blanket, so we asking to changes the cover or blanket. The good point is, the breakfast is nice. That's all. We coming here to Java Island actually to do an inspection, what's the Island looks like. How clean and comfortable are the accomodation here. Coz we have a tour and service. We have to know all the standard service here before we give any recommendations or bring our customers to come here. And we found a very expensive hotel with a low service. In Bali, the hotel with this price, the service, the room are way nicer. I don't know how the standard service in Java. So far the city that we have visited in Java, has very low hotel standard but they ask for 5 star hotel price. Amazing right. If Loji Hotel can upgrade their service level to be better than now, I will recommend this hotel. But for now, we are sorry, this hotel is not recommended. Hopefully the Manager read all the review and do some maintenance also the service. Thank you.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Oldstyle hotel, but well maintained... Guests amenities were complete and in good condition. But the service from the front office seems too stiff and not flexible. I was just asking if possible to have late checkout at 12.30, but the answer was just ”CAN NOT!!! THE HOTEL IS FULL TODAY”, in an unfriendly voice. While it is Ramadan month, and i know the hotel is currently not busy at all. Well, despite of the frontliner stiffness, the hotel is still very recommended...

i came here alone for meeting, so i stay alone in a big room . they have big bed, big curtain, big old mirror that facing to bathroom . actually, i've heard that they have 2 types of building, the old one and the new one . but i knew it late. if you stay here alone, i recommend you to request to stay in the new building. except you want mystical experience.. i didnt found any mystical creatures, but the ambience says it all . in the end . this is a nice staying . because i still can sleep there . in a big size of bed .

First time stay in Ibis style with familly its good sevice from reception already prepare for birthday cake for my princess, from HK also always give the fast service for the breakfast its enought delicious and many choise i hope can get bigger room for next stay ,:)) but over all Ibis style solo ITS worthit to leisure..love it

Just recently stayed for four nights at Solo Paragon Hotel for business trip and enjoyed my stay overall. To be very honest, Solo Paragon was not my first hotel choice when I looked at accommodations in Solo for this business trip. However, there was no other options left when I wanted to reserve as Solo had multiple international events during my time there. Pre-arrival impression was unpleasant as when I texted them requesting for airport pick-up arrangement, they turned down my request immediately stating that they were busy with the international event. Moreover, I requested assistance to send some packages from the hotel but again they turned down my request stating they did not provide that service. I have been working in the hotel industry for a while and fully understand that these two were supposedly the basic service offered to guests, let alone by a property at Solo Paragon Hotel level. At this stage, even before arriving to the hotel itself, I was devastated and had actually looked at other accommodation option. However, as everything was on prepaid basis I decided to just go with it. The tide started to turn when I decided to give the hotel a call one day prior to arriving, as I wanted to understand more about the city (this is my very first visit to Solo). Patty - the lady who picked up the phone, was super helpful answering my questions and really getting me prepped up for my trip. Throughout my stay also, I coincidentally met her almost every day of my stay (usually in the afternoon). She was always being nice, helpful, and friendly. She even assisted me to plan a short tour around the destinations in Solo. Her presence at the Front Desk really brought positive ambience there, in addition to of course all her colleagues in the Front Desk and Lobby area - including the Security team. Solo Paragon Hotel is also located in the heart of Solo, make it super easy to go everywhere. There are Solo Paragon Shopping Mall just downstairs - shops, coffee shops, night markets, and restaurants in walking distance - and also going around by car feels close to everywhere. Definitely recommended for travelers seeking for easy access to various places in Solo. At this stage, the great staff and strategic location really made my business trip convenient and at this point I had forgotten my unpleasant pre-arrival experience. However, still there are some points that requires upgrade for Slo Paragon Hotel to get their perfect 10/10 experience. First, I felt that there were no standards in the Housekeeping service; sometimes they left the bathroom door open somethings they did not, sometimes they folded the bath mat above the toilet sometimes on the floor, sometimes they brought spare laundry bag and form when I requested for laundry service and sometimes they did not. Anyway it's comfortable about the hotel. Breakfast is also good. Unfortunately we checked in a quiet time, so when the toy in the pool is alone, there was no other person, less rame. So when playing gym, it was also quiet.

One hour and a half taking a train from Jogja to solo seeing my partner after a few months in a distance because of the pandemic situation. The air was so hot, but we suddenly arrive at this hotel with all of the safe introduction of hand sanitizer, distance, life touch, and the other stuff for this new normal. all of the staff there were so kind that makes us feel comfortable enough. That vibes in the room make me have a good conversation after a long time distance. The pillow and bed were so soft, kindly make a coffee and tea for our day easily in here, and also absolutely the bathroom and all of the stUff that smells so good. You know what the best part here? Right. Seeing a view of Surakarta from their window.
