"The guesthouse is located behind Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The rooftop terrace offers views of the square and is very quiet. The owners were very welcoming. I stayed two nights, experiencing both the lively crowds of the Vesak Day festival and the tranquility of the mornings and evenings. The sky was filled with crows, living alongside people – a very comfortable experience. Bhaktapur is definitely worth staying in; it's not a place to rush."

1150237****The homestay is near the center of the ancient city, quiet in the middle of noisy. It is very close to the four squares and super convenient.
The homestay is managed by an old couple and is well organized. There is a garden full of flowers. The room was clean and tidy and very comfortable.
Breakfast is rich, especially Badgang yogurt, very delicious.
Go to that Kuot rent a car by the homestay to help contact, 1700 rupees, super cheap.
CCostantino85I had the pleasure of staying at The Nanee, and the experience was truly excellent.
The hotel is genuinely charming, beautifully maintained, spotless, and very welcoming. You immediately feel the care and attention to detail in every corner. The staff is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive; they make you feel not just like a guest, but truly cared for.
The breakfast is delicious, with great variety and quality, and the restaurant in general is excellent. The dishes are well prepared, flavorful, and served in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The location is also perfect for getting around the city easily, making it very convenient to explore.
Last but not least, the morning tour offered by the hotel to discover local rituals and traditions is something truly unforgettable. It’s an authentic and enriching experience that allows you to connect deeply with the local culture.
To make everything even more special, there is also a lovely farewell gift, a small but meaningful gesture that leaves a lasting impression.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit this beautiful and charming city.
XXueYun LiIf there are 6 stars or 7 stars, I will definitely choose it. It's a pity that there are only 5 stars! The moment I got off the car, all the fatigue of the journey disappeared instantly. The design of the hotel is so beautiful! It is located in the forest, surrounded by clouds and mist, like a fairyland, and every shot is a blockbuster. The four of us booked a three-story villa, which is very large and high-end. The housekeeper is very considerate and delicate, and the staff is warm and thoughtful, with a smile on their faces.
The encounter with guru ji Hswami Satya Shree was the luckiest thing for our trip. A person who exudes the light of God all over his body led us to hike at 5:00 in the morning and saw the light of sunrise. After the hike, he led us to traditional Nepalese yoga until 9:10 in the morning. Yoga meditation in the quiet forest made us feel calm and happy. After that, guru ji talked with us for a whole afternoon. We got very rich information from him. He is a loving and generous elder.
This is definitely the best gift in 2024. We will come again.
LLIImpeccable hotel on the highest point of the mountain. You can watch the sunset and sunrise, and you can directly see Everest when the visibility is good. The chalet is lower in the mountains, and there are two rooms on the upper and lower floors. The main building has better visibility at the highest point.
DDapingguojiejieThe location is good, walking distance to Badgang Square and several other squares. I chose a heritage hotel specifically because I like the quaint and historical decoration style. It should be a solar water heater. It takes a while for the hot water to come out, but the water temperature is still satisfactory. I stayed for two nights and enjoyed two breakfasts. One was a buffet breakfast. There were not many varieties, but a few but fine ones, including both Western and local Nepali flavors. On the other day, because there were fewer guests, we had a breakfast set, which was local Nepali style. It included several kinds of dairy products, all of which were cold, such as yogurt and thin yogurt with water. It made my stomach feel a little uncomfortable. , quickly asked for hot water.
GGuest UserThank you for your hospitality. Polite and attentive hotel owners helped in exploring the surrounding area. As a lover of historical and religious architecture I was immensely happy. The room overlooked the courtyard, the neighbors were not noisy. Wonderful view of the city on the top floor, in the dining room. For this price - excellent. I recommend it to everyone.
VVicky59Beautiful location looking out at the mountains from the terrace. Friendly staff was very helpful with suggestions and service. Breakfast was amazing with eggs, sausages, pancakes, toast, and fresh fruit!
GGuest UserIt is about a 2-minute walk from the end of the local bus from Bhaktapur. Access to the city center is better than any hotel. The entrance is a little confusing.
The room is very spacious and clean, the wash basin, shower, toilet, all water pressure is strong, and hot water comes out. There is no heating facility, but there is no problem because the futon is neat.
Both dinner and breakfast were substantial, and Talcalidalbert was quite delicious even though I ate in Nepal. The mother is also very kind.
CChezzaThis hostel is really unique. I loved feeling like I was staying in the bush as I looked out at the trees through my window in the morning. It was pretty cold and there's no heating in the room, so I struggled to get out of bed, but the bedding kept me warm enough throughout the night. Unfortunately, they didn't have a kettle in the room to help keep me warm with a little hot water, but they did give me a thermos of hot water from the restaurant when I asked about it. The shower also never remained warm for long.
These shortcomings were made up for by the unique environment and the wonderful views up at the restaurant/communal area. On the last day, I could see the Himalayas clearly from there. It was beautiful. There is also a great variety of reasonably priced food at the restaurant.
The hotel is also about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town and 10 minutes walk in the other direction is a great place to view the sunrise. The staff were happy to help out and give directions when I asked. Of course, it would have been even nicer if they had offered some of that information on my arrival rather than waiting for me to ask.
Overall, a great place to stay!
