Outstanding
TThierry JayleA very good address. The owner is very nice and all his family very welcome. Good food prepared by his wife. Great view of the Himalaya chain. Rooms are very pleasant, especially for this price.
It takes 15-20 minutes walk to get from the bus stop to the centre of Dhulikhel.
DDr.ARTSA beautiful Thai mountain hotel
Good weather, can see the Himalayas, the whole mountain range, very cool weather
SPA is very standard, there are Nepalese masseuses who can massage hard
Disadvantages
Long distance and the road is not very good, from Kathmandu 1.2 hours
Must hire a TAXI or Private Car
Himalaya is shy, not seen every day and all day, have to take a chance
Food focuses more on Nepalese than international, but it's good to get a variety
ККомпас земнойGood: Easy to find – close to the bus stop. The hotel is fairly new, the room is nice, and has everything you need. It includes a comfortable balcony with a table and chairs. A kettle and tea and coffee making facilities are also available. Some rooms have sunrise views. You can watch the sunrise (if shown) from the hotel rooftop, as there's a comfortable deck there. Sunset views are also possible if you walk along a path (they'll point you to it) for about five minutes. The staff is friendly and can help you plan your stay in Nagarkot. Dinner is also available at the hotel or nearby (there are options). Breakfast depends on the number of guests. If there are only a few, it's a la carte; if there are many, it's a small buffet. It's not particularly filling, but perfectly acceptable.
Bad: No refrigerator, and hot water isn't always hot.
GGuest UserAn excellent hotel in Dhulikhel. There’s a swimming pool with Himalayan views. The lunch and dinner buffet is excellent. There’s a great coffee shop with valley views. The hotel upgraded me to a suite which had a jacuzzi bath which was much appreciated at the end of a long day of hiking through the valley to Namobuddah.
