I found this place to be even better than I expected. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even surprised me with a complimentary service, which showed how much they genuinely care about their guests.
The location is perfect, offering one of the best balcony views of Nagarkot. Unlike many other hotels in the area, the balcony provides complete privacy, which earned them extra points from me.
Another standout feature is the heated swimming pool, which is quite rare to find in hotels in Nepal within a similar price range. The food was also delicious, and I especially appreciated the cook's warm hospitality.
Overall, I would happily give Bhangeri Durbar and its wonderful staff a full 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended!
Good: Easy to find – close to the bus stop. The hotel is fairly new, the room is nice, and has everything you need. It includes a comfortable balcony with a table and chairs. A kettle and tea and coffee making facilities are also available. Some rooms have sunrise views. You can watch the sunrise (if shown) from the hotel rooftop, as there's a comfortable deck there. Sunset views are also possible if you walk along a path (they'll point you to it) for about five minutes. The staff is friendly and can help you plan your stay in Nagarkot. Dinner is also available at the hotel or nearby (there are options). Breakfast depends on the number of guests. If there are only a few, it's a la carte; if there are many, it's a small buffet. It's not particularly filling, but perfectly acceptable.
Bad: No refrigerator, and hot water isn't always hot.
