Above all, I would like to highlight the outstanding service provided by the hotel team. The staff are professional, attentive, caring, and genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome and valued. I would especially like to mention Anna from the Concierge Department, who was exceptional. She was extremely professional, kind, attentive, and always willing to assist with any request. Her personal attention made our stay even more special. JW Marriott Bucharest offers a wonderful combination of luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. Perfect spot for a Bucharest city break! The location is unbeatable—right at the edge of the Old Town, making it a 5-minute walk to landmarks like the Stavropoleos Monastery. The vibe is exactly what you expect from a Moxy: modern, energetic, and very social. The rooms are a bit compact but super clean and have everything you need for a short stay. Special thanks to the staff for being so welcoming. Great base if you’re planning to explore the city or heading onward to Sofia!

Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti Review Having recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Continental in Bucharest, I can confidently say this establishment lives up to its grand name. The hotel exudes classic elegance, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. Special mention must go to Daniel, the bell boy, whose dedication to guest satisfaction went well beyond his duties, setting a remarkable standard for hospitality. The hotel's layout is thoughtfully designed, making navigation effortless for guests coming and going throughout their stay. Its pristine cleanliness and classical architecture create an atmosphere of refined luxury that perfectly complements its historical surroundings. Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. The city's finest museums are mere minutes away, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti offers a superb hotel experience in the heart of Romania's capital. Despite the breakfast pricing, which is easily remedied by numerous nearby alternatives, the hotel's outstanding service, perfect location and classical charm make it a splendid choice for anyone visiting Bucharest. We had a lovely stay overall. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the room was a good size — very pleasant and well kept. We were quite happy with the overall experience. Breakfast could be improved, as there weren’t many healthy options available. Most of the choices were heavier, American-style dishes, so a bit more variety would make a nice difference. It would also be great if the room cleaning were a bit more thorough each day, rather than just making the bed and changing towels. When guests pay for a hotel stay, consistent quality and attention to detail are always appreciated.

Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Mercure Bucharest offers a welcoming and comfortable stay. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

I cannot fault this hotel. So perfectly situated without being noisy, lovely staff, fantastic and varied breakfast (with excellent coffee), a well appointed gym, spotless and spacious. Thank you for making a solo female traveller happy, well fed and safe.

Mine and my teenage son first time to Romania, the hotel was average from the outside but excellent as soon as you go through the doors. Room was more than I expected for price and the restaurant within the hotel was very well priced and some of the best food I have ever eaten.

Perfect base for a city trip to Bucharest! I stayed in a small single room. The room is indeed compact, but incredibly clean! It's thoroughly cleaned every day, and the tea bags and toiletries are also neatly refilled daily. The location is absolutely top-notch: the hotel is on a wonderfully quiet street, yet just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Old Town. This allows you to perfectly enjoy a night out and still get a good, peaceful night's sleep. The mattress is of very good quality; I slept wonderfully. A real recommendation for solo travelers!

The location of this hostel is great, very close to the center of Bucharest, and it is very convenient to walk to nearby attractions or libraries. Wi-Fi is available in the public areas and the speed is very stable. The best thing is that they have self-propelled facilities and dryers, which is a savior for long-term travelers! The atmosphere in the public garden is also very relaxing, and the overall stay is very satisfactory, recommended to all backpackers.

The stay didn't start well, as my flight was delayed and I had to check in in the early morning. It took two hours until I was finally attended to. However, the rest of my days, with the great atmosphere, good vibes, and available services, left me more satisfied. The shared dorms were spacious, the air conditioning wasn't excessive, and you could either cook your own meals or enjoy a delicious and varied breakfast that was really worth it. I'd definitely come back despite the initial inconvenience. The photo is my best memory, as it's the first thing I saw when I left my room.
