Very clean , but the smell of bleach was fairly intense in the room. Great location and associated location for the music festival was perfect. Room was somewhat dated but comfortable. No refrigerator in the room, which was unexpected. Price was high for a Monday but it was tourist season. Enjoyed it, overall! Great Lake cruise!

We like the location of the hotel. It’s not far from the center of the village. Sometimes it feels easier to just walk (to a restaurant or an attraction) than drive. Some details of the hotel we don’t like - for instance the hotel says free WiFi. But you don’t know until checked in that it’s only free up to 3M. After that you’ll need to pay a fee. This speaks to the open network btw. The password given on the key sleeve does not work on any of the secured WiFi network that’s related to the hotel. My husband tried several and gave up - he revert to using his phone data. The hotel also says free kayak, paddle boat etc to use. We later found out that the rental is expected to be done at a certain time (15 mins on the hour) and up to 45 mins. Ie if you want to kayak longer, you will need to return it after 45mins and wait 15 mins on the beach, sign another waiver, then kayak 45 mins more, etc. This feels very disruptive. I asked the beach staff why it’s the case, but the answer is not very convincing. These are just examples, there are other details of the hotel that feel either under-delivering or a bit too restrictive.
We were a little early for the season but the hotel is close to everything. Indoor pool made it fun for the kids. When they couldn't go outside because of the rain. The breakfast in the mornings was delicious. The staff was very pleasant and very accommodating, even though they did not have wifi due to a power issue, they were still very able and willing to assist us.
