Hotel STATUS
"The Hotel Status in Brest, Belarus, is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. This modern and contemporary hotel boasts spacious and spotlessly clean rooms, complete with large, well-appointed bathrooms. Check-in was seamless, with extremely helpful and friendly staff greeting us upon arrival. While the restaurant menu and breakfast options are somewhat limited, the quality of the food is exceptional. Our junior suite, with its city view, offered a truly comfortable stay thanks to the extremely comfortable beds and soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel's overall quality and service easily earn it a 4-star international rating, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Brest."
Intourist Hotel
"At the initial stage of check-in everything went well, we rented the cheapest room for two (Twin C), since we needed to spend a day in the city somewhere. For its price, the room is quite normal, there were no problems with it, the main thing is that there were no insects) We checked in on 07/13/2023 at 18:00, at registration no one said that check-out was at 12:00 (although the administrator later said that we were lying and they told us, allegedly she was sitting nearby and heard, although she was naturally not nearby)))) No one said that you are from 18:00 to 12, and you pay as for a whole day. As a result, at 15:00 the next day (07/14) we are asked to go down to the reception, where a woman (apparently the administrator) in a rude manner, with a nasty intonation, asks "Young people, what time did you check in?" Well, we say that at six in the evening, to which we are told "You were supposed to leave at 12", we replied that we did not know, that no one warned us, since on the receipt (to which the payment check is attached) it was written in black and white: 07/13/2023 (18) - 07/14/2023 (18). And for us it was logical that since we paid for a day, we would live there for a day. Thus, in a rude manner, we were asked to move out, no one apologized, and they shifted the blame onto us, allegedly we deliberately ignored them, although we were NOT warned. It's a pity, of course, neither they nor we can prove this. As a result, we checked out three hours early, were unable to take a shower before the train, got caught in the rain and basically found ourselves on the street, although we were not at all prepared for this. This lady completely ruined the attitude towards this hotel (although everything was fine at the beginning), and if they had asked us politely, apologized, and not said "we warned you, you did not hear", then we would have calmly moved out and would not even have written this review. The most surprising thing is that in the official document (receipt) the time is from 18 to 18, to which they told us "this is how the program writes", and what difference does it make to us what is wrong with your program? According to the law, we had the right to stay until the paid hour, it is a pity that no one cares and no one wanted to resolve this issue peacefully. I recommend the employer to have a conversation with the employee who allows such communication with guests (and even though we took the cheapest room), this is the only case that slightly spoiled the impression of the city and the country as a whole. Unfortunately, they did not ask the employee's name."
Hotel Vesta
"Disgusting hotel!!! None of the stated amenities were even close!!! The water from the shower flowed in a sad stream, the restaurant was under renovation - naturally, with a late check-in after a hard trip - this is not very pleasant, the two-room suite where there were not even teaspoons was impressive - never book this "hotel""
Molodezhnaya Hotel
"The bus and train stations are nearby, and it's close to the main pedestrian street. That's where the hotel's positives end. We stayed for one night, from August 13th to 14th. Double room 201 had air conditioning. But single room 204 didn't, only a Soviet-era table fan! There was no kettle in the rooms. The promised cooler in the hallway was nowhere to be found. But in the morning, we caught a bedbug! And found telltale bites on our body. Breakfast at the "Chemodan" cafe is simply pathetic for the price: the menu is minimal and there's no choice at all. There are no dishes or utensils, or you have to swear at them to get them. Long lines for tea/coffee. The service is rude."
