"The receptionist was not friendly and argumentative.  I was not rude or angry with her requests.  She was not rude either, but not friendly.  Twice I had to visit the front desk and twice I took her attention away from her phone.  The telephone in the room had no dial tone.  She said maybe it’s not plugged in.  I checked went back and checked the plug in the room and it was plugged in.  I told her that.  She said we don’t have a maintenance man today, that’s too bad.  After checking out and having breakfast I asked if there was a restroom where I could wash my hands.  I was told it was out of service. After this experience I will not be returning."

"We had an excellent stay for the location and price. I forgot to print our concert tickets and staff went above and beyond to get the tickets printed for us. Due to traffic we were also running late not only did the tickets get printed fast, check in was fast. We will definitely be back in the future."

"I was displaced from my apartment, in Black Mountain, during Hurricane Helene. I was booked a reservation, over the phone, at the Comfort Inn in East Asheville on November 7th. I paid a reservation fee upon booking. When I arrived, for check-in, I provided my ID and debit card. I was quickly turned away because I was local. Only 41 days after a natural disaster…after my apartment was flooded by a nearby creek…I was being turned away from a hotel in my own hometown because I was LOCAL. I left in tears, with nowhere to go. Every time I call for a refund for my deposit, I wait on hold until I’m hung up on."

"Wow!! This beautiful hotel totally exceeded our expectations! We were having some issues with a third-party booking agent and the desk clerk Derek did an outstanding job of helping us through the challenges. Every aspect of the hotel is first class! The decor is beautiful. The room was fantastic and they offer many nice touches like a wine reception, upscale toiletries and comfortable robes and the sheets were very soft.  The hotel manager, Anna was extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating. If you are looking for a hotel in the downtown Asheville area, you will love this hotel! We have stayed at many nice hotels over the years, and this hotel is definitely an A+."

"Holiday Inn Ashville East – Blue Ridge Pkwy, where I stayed during a business trip in the United States, was really satisfied. The rooms were neatly arranged and the bedding was cozy, so I was able to relax after a long trip. Thanks to the quiet atmosphere, the work was well organized, and the atmosphere in the lobby and restaurant was warm. The staff were friendly and responded immediately if there was a request, so there was no inconvenience at all. The breakfast menu was varied and tasted good, so I was able to start the day pleasantly. The location is near the entrance of Blue Ridge Parkway, so the natural scenery is great and the access to the city is good, so it is suitable for both business trips and travel. Overall, the price satisfaction is high and it is a hotel I want to visit again."
