Eagle's Nest Resort

"From our first warm welcome, to our final good-byes, our stay at the Eagle's Nest Resort was perfect. Tim and Tena are the perfect hosts. Their knowledge of the area and their suggestions of activities filled our days with wonder and awe. Tena's delicious evening meals made with locally grown produce were all the more special for being served in the dining-room overlooking the spectacular lake. At the end of the day we would retire to our cozy, spotlessly clean room to listen to birdsong on the large screened balcony. Birdwatching, even for those with no experience is captivating. From the dock you can watch the endangered white pelicans soar and land nearby, osprey fish and loons are also a frequent sight. We took out one of the canoes and explored the lake, and marsh which brought us within a metre of various birds. The short easy hike to the Precipice/Hotnarko Falls and the hoodoo was stunning, and nearby at Nimpo Lake we took a floatplane tour of the Rainbow Range, Monarch Glacier Field and Hunlen Falls."

"I'm usually pretty forgiving when it comes to this type of accommodation But I draw the line at a dirty bathroom that has lots of black hair in the tub and a dirty toilet Also the lighting is rather dark in the room so I didn't notice until this morning that the ceramic cup I was using to add water to the coffee maker was dirty Thankfully I had brought in my tim Hortons cup to use Yuk I opted not to have a shower this morning My hair color is blonde and Grey"

99 Mile Motel

"The front photo is misleading. The review is overrated. Old dated, bed sheet are dirt. No hairdryer. Absolutely the worst one we have ever experienced."

Sheridan Lake Motel

"A spacious renovated hotel room with kitchen facilities. Person on the phone when booking was very hard to understand. When arriving at the motel had to wait for manager to arrive. Bed was very comfortable but a very fragrant laundry soap was used which was overpowering. Room price was not confirmed and was very expensive. Also weird sound next door when water was used. No heat thermostat in room. "
