Meghauli Serai Chitwan National Park - A Taj Safari Lodge

"The Meghauli Serai is set in amazing grounds and views . The entrance overlooks an infinity pool with the jungle in the background . We were fortunate to have Swatika as our guide for the safari drive, walk and boat safari , she is extremely knowleable and engaging . We were lucky enough to see a Tiger , Rhino with calf , Sloth bear monkeys and Deer. Sujan in the restaurant looked after us for all our meals and was very attentive and friendly . The food is amazing and varied , often we just didn’t have the capacity to eat all offerings .All the staff are very attentive and trying to make your stay memorable . The traditional local dancing on our last night was a lovely end to our stay ."

"Love the rooms and ambiance. All staff happy and helpful. Kettles safes, robes, and slippers available. Pool was good and bar was good. Food excellent. The safari guide was excellent and knowledgeable. Bird watching early am was nice to see birds."

"I stayed here for 2 nights specifically to visit the Chitwan National Park. The hotel and excursions were arranged for me by a third party so I didn't really have any involvement in that, but I was really impressed with how nice this place was. From all the staff, who were amazingly friendly and helpful, to my nice cosy room, I cannot speak highly enough. Unfortunately I did not have time to use the pool, but it looked nice. Recommended if you're coming to Chitwan."

"Disappointing Experience – Avoid this place I recently stayed at KC’s Restaurant and Home in Sauraha, Chitwan, and had a terrible experience. We booked a suite room (B103), expecting comfort, but the AC was not working in the peak summer heat. Despite multiple complaints, the staff was unresponsive and unhelpful. They neither fixed the issue nor offered any reasonable solution. A suite room at this price should come with basic amenities functioning properly, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Definitely not worth the money if you’re expecting a comfortable stay. Would not recommend this place"

"This hotel exudes luxury and offers a wealth of amenities. The staff were very welcoming; we were immediately given a towel to freshen up, which was lovely! The reception area is beautiful, including its own Safari desk, which is great! There's an elevator and two wide staircases, which is unique. You can visit the gym, relax in the spa, and there's a jacuzzi outside—wonderful! There are also cozy outdoor seating areas where you can enjoy drinks and food, open 24/7. A new hotel located just outside the center of Sauraha, in a quiet area, which I really like! A very luxurious and beautiful hotel!"
