Hotels in Cradle Mountain

"Over three thousand a night for a hotel where the water pressure is terrible – constantly fluctuating between hot and cold, and the flow is all over the place. For that price, it's just not acceptable, is it? Also, avoid the Highland restaurant; it's overpriced and the food is mediocre. You're better off just eating at the regular restaurant next door (though they're severely understaffed, with one person running around trying to do everything). The front desk phone is perpetually unreachable, and there's no Wi-Fi in the room (though Telstra mobile data works). That said, there aren't many other good hotel options around Cradle Mountain, so I guess this is as good as it gets."

"Comfortable stay for the night. Design was old fashion but it was clean. Within 5 mins short drive down to Devils@cradle and Cradle Mountain Climb. Boardwalk available in the hotel which is about a 10mins loop, didnt manage to catch any wildlife. Do not have a heater in the room so it gets quite chilly at night."

"The check-in was super convenient, and the bedding was spotless. On the day I stayed, I only had one roommate in a four-bed room. The room's location is excellent, very close to attractions and within walking distance. There's also a restaurant near the property that you can walk to. However, I'd suggest buying food in the city center as it's more cost-effective."

"Very good service, arrived late, missed the time to check in. But Rachel was very considerate to put the key and map in the envelope, the cabin was very clean and warm, and there were small animals at the door to visit. A possum leaned on the railing to welcome us and took a picture of our window to say hello. The next morning, two possums came to Wallabies looking for something to eat with us, but unfortunately the weather did not see the starry sky and the Milky Way."
