"I am a regular user of Premier Inns and have to say that as with most Premier Inns these days the maintenance and decorating of Crewe Central is not great but the hotel is in a reasonably quiet area with plenty of parking. The staff are very friendly and the rooms the usual Premier Inn standard with a very comfortable bed and standard bathroom facilities. Unfortunately the hotel, like most Premier Inns at the moment is beset with dining issues brought about by Premier Inns Restaurant Closure programme. The former Brocklebank Brewers Fare attached to the hotel has been closed and externally that building looks almost derelict, with new opening hours hand written on a board by the front door! The former restaurant building is still in use for "Hotel Residents Only" and with a new "Premier Inn Food" Menu. I dined at 7.30pm on a Friday evening and it was like dining in a morgue with only around 6 other customers spread around the huge dining area. On arrival, having paid in advance for a "Meal Deal", I was informed that "We have no Steaks or King Prawns available tonight" - so that significantly reduced the menu offerings I was likely to select! Pretty appalling for 7.30 on a Friday Night - at the start of a weekend! Having paid in advance I did stay to eat and felt sorry for the staff having to work in those circumstances and having to apologise for such P. Inn management shortcomings. Breakfast the next morning was cooked to order and very good, but I despair at what the Whitbread Management are doing to the once very well regarded Premier Inn Brand and Reputation! If their aim is to destroy the companies reputation then this is "yet another" example of what a good job they are doing across pretty much the whole Premier Inn estate!!"

"Rooms are extremely light and clean, sturdy beds. On the hotels official website, it states the rooms air air conditioned, however, this is not true. When we asked the guy on reception, he tried to convince me that I’ve read it wrong and tried to make me out as being stupid, but it clearly states the rooms have aircon but only the reception/lobby has air con. The room was very comfortable, could do with having some netting as looks directly into the offices across the way, unless you close the curtains."
