"The hygiene and facility maintenance were very disappointing. As soon as I opened the door, a foul odor from the bathroom drain permeated the entire room. Since it was an unmanned hotel, there was no on-site manager, so I was unable to even request a room change. I thought, "It will get better over time," or "Maybe I'm just being sensitive," but the smell never went away. A bigger problem was the layout and the air conditioning. The bathroom and room were not separated; I couldn't even close the door, and the window facing the bathroom was left open. Furthermore, despite it being a hot summer, the air conditioner was fixed at 25 degrees, making it unbearably hot without turning on a fan. (Turning on the fan only created a vicious cycle where the bathroom smell circulated further into the room.) Eventually, I tried to sleep until dawn, but I couldn't stand it anymore, so I went down to my car and managed to get some sleep inside. I came back up in the morning, took a quick shower, and checked out immediately. I would absolutely not recommend this place unless you can tolerate the smell of a bathroom drain."
