"Difficult to find. No Grab or Gojek in Dili, so I asked in advance about airport pickup and got no response. The entrance doesn’t look like a hotel, and the taxi driver who eventually found it insisted it was the wrong address. There’s a cheaper hotel 100m down the road not listed on Tripadvisor, this one is slightly better though. The owner told me leaving at 6am would be fine for an 8am flight. It wasn’t close, and I had to wake the maid at 4am to open the gate. If I’d missed the flight following his advice, that would have been entirely on him. Otherwise the place is clean, though rooms aren’t tidied daily."

"This resting place will not win any architectural awards for avant-garde design or art deco styling, but this minor setback is weighing up by an efficient cooling AC, the (for country's standard) acceptable Wifi and a reading light more than good enough for bedtime stories.  The staff may seem attentive and helpful at first, but when requested for transportation, the help didn't go beyond following up the whereabout of the driver. The amenities in the room are good. There is a minifridge, a kettle and seating place. So, this hotel, I would say, gives a lot of value for the money. But then please mind the language barrier with the staff and the smelly odor from the bathroom."

"First of all, there is nothing fun in East Timor. It is relatively scarce in terms of tourism resources, transportation is not convenient, and prices are relatively high. Then as for the hotel, it is just so-so, a bit like the guesthouses in China. The facilities are relatively old and the business is relatively small. There are no slippers in the room, and you don’t have to bring your own toothbrush or other toiletries. There is no free mineral water, only bottled water service, which can only be said to be make do. The free breakfast is relatively small. It may be because it is closer to the airport and the transportation is more convenient. The infrastructure of the whole East Timor is really poor."

"The location is excellent; you can take bus numbers 10 or 12 from the airport for 25 cents. Of course, taking a taxi is definitely more comfortable than taking the bus. There's Chinese food available, suitable for those who don't like Indonesian cuisine. With a little painting of the walls and a change of the bedding, the overall feel is very upscale. In East Timor, where prices are relatively high, you get what you pay for. Initially, I hesitated to book a hotel around 500 RMB, but East Timor is more suitable for the average consumer. Many Chinese people do business there; the overall environment is safe, clean, and the people are generally well-mannered. By the way, some information: Andrographis paniculata and Hedyotis diffusa are commonly used medicines in East Timor if it's inconvenient to see a doctor locally. They can be boiled in water to reduce inflammation for sore throats and to treat stomach upset caused by dampness and heat."
