"Syros, what a beautiful and should not be missed! We wanted an apartment that was good value as we were island hopping for two weeks. We booked this apartment for two nights as we liked the small kitchen and the balcony. Lovely Dina showed us to our room (136) , it is a one bedroom apartment, small kitchenette and a sea view. It was perfect for our needs. Then there is the rooftop terrace for all the rooms to share which was a bonus! (Plus, nobody was booked in, so it was all ours!) The location is perfect, 5 minutes to walk into the centre and harbour. The views are spectacular! You can walk 5 minutes down to the beach which is great for swimming! There is a cafe a little further on and a restaurant on the hillside! We loved it! Yes, it's basic, it was clean, good water pressure, great wifi, but it's an old property, it's Greece, it was a good price, embrace it! There is a bus stop outside, the small local bus is free!! the city bus for further afield has a small charge, both regular. We would definitely stay here again! This island is now our favourite."

"A comfortable guest house right next to the Ermopouli Opera House and therefore right in the middle of the town. A word of caution - the building does have some steep stairs (no elevator, so be aware if you are less mobile!) That aside, the site allowed easy access to amenities and public transport. Christos, the owner is a mine of information and solid advice to get the most out of your visit. My wife and I like to immerse ourselves in Greek life, and Christos and his excellent guest house helped us with restaurant recommendations and where to pick up the best coffee in town. Overall, excellent."

"Wonderful central location, lovely staff , accommodation in neo classical architecture, the breakfast is served in a pavement cafe and you get a choice of a menu, lovely breakfast choices and a little different to the usual. Rooms are of a high standard and lovely toiletries, beach towels and a great balcony overlooking the street and a very short walk from the ferry port. Lots of shops and restaurants very close. Definitely stay again and can recommend."
