Sunrise Beach Suites

"The hotel is situated on a hillside offering nice views on the Aegean Sea. The room was spacious, but not clean. We found dirt upon arrival mostly in the kitchen. The decoration consisted of different aesthetically pieces of furniture thus not nicely decorated. The dining chairs were dirty. The tab water is not drinkable we were told upon arrival. The washbasin and the shower were rusty. At times there was an odor coming from the bathroom. WiFi didn't work in the room, only at the porch but still was really slow. The breakfast wasn't consisted of what someone would expect from a 4 star hotel (the hotel is 4 keys, we were informed, not 4 stars). It was placed on a tray by the lady at the pool bar and we took it at our tables. It seems that the cleaning of the room towels takes place inside the hotel. Overall, it was a GREAT disappointment."

Shapes Luxury Suites

"Truly a luxury to stay at Shapes. Nikos and Hara are amazing hosts and concierges. The suite we had was large and well appointed. The bed, pillows and linens were top quality. The bathroom is very well designed. The balcony over looking the port was entertainment itself, watching ferries come and go, cruise ships dock and people bustling about. Given the location the room itself was private and quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast, often finishing it off late afternoon as it was plentiful. We highly recommend the island and having Shapes Luxury Villas as your base."

Hotel Omiros

"The hotel is ok and no real complaints. Everything worked. It's not fancy and the breakfast is simple. I beleive I had toast and coffee which is what I normally have at home anyways. I gave it a 4 because to the staff. The young lady with the brown hair and glasses was a gem. The young blonde was wonderful also. The young lady ended up booking a tour for us on the island. It was amazing and she made our stay that much more pleasant. Be warned however that there is nothing significant in the area to go and eat. You probably will need to cab somewhere. Exoticca booked this for us. Which means it's probably one of the cheapest places you can find on the island"

Apollonion Palace

"We booked a 2 week stay, for the third straight year. The Appolonion Palace is in an ideal location, a few minutes' walk from town. The rooms are opulent and the beds extremely comfortable. Each room has individual climate controlled air conditioning and plenty of hot water. The hotel provides a nice breakfast on request for a small fee as well as drinks and snacks that can be enjoyed on a roof top patio or on a lovely terrance with steps leading to a turquoise blue private swimming area. The facilities are incredible, but what sets this hotel apart from others is the dedication and friendliness of the staff. We love that there is someone at the front desk 24 hours a day, and that they are always available to assist with whatever requests we have and also provide many suggestions for an enjoyable stay on Syros. At various times this has included restaurant bookings, beach chair reservations at various other beaches, taxi and boat tours. A few nights ago the taxis were very busy and after our meal, the restaurant could not find a taxi for us. We called the hotel and within 15 minutes they found a taxi who picked us up and brought us to the hotel. From the moment we arrive until we leave, the experience is 5 star, and that level of service is usually found at hotels that cost several hundred more Euros per night. We look forward to coming back next year and are very greatful that Mr Spyros and his team will be here to welcome us!"

This is truly a wonderful place to stay on Syros and you will feel like royalty in the beautifully appointed rooms and dining areas. Lea and her staff maintain Hotel Ploes at the highest standards of cleanliness and service. This was our first time in Syros, so we were not sure of the best place to stay. The location of Hotel Ploes is optimal for making the most of your stay in Syros. You are a one-to-two-minute walk to the town square and all of the restaurants, shopping, and nighttime activities. It is really an ideal location to take in all of the wonderful features of Syros with unmatched convenience. The staff was courteous, friendly, and attentive and always ready to help you. Lea checked with us frequently and helped us get reservations and find local attractions to visit. We loved having lazy afternoons on the deck that sits right on the Aegean Sea. The setting is spectacular and was a wonderful way to end a long vacation. We HIGHLY recommend Hotel Ploes to anyone visiting Paros. You will find the facilities to be world class and the staff ready to help you make the most of your visit."
