"Overall, I had a very good experience at the hotel—everything was well-maintained and service was generally up to standard. However, the coffee served at breakfast was a major disappointment. It had a distinctly bad, almost salty taste—truly the worst coffe I’ve ever had. When I mentioned it to the barista, he simply shrugged and said, “I know, it’s because the water is salty.” For a hotel that markets itself as 5-star, this is quite surprising and unacceptable. It’s unclear why such an obvious issue hasn’t been addressed. A simple solution—like using filtered or bottled water for coffee—could make a big difference. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as it affects the overall guest experience."

"Sorry but this is not a 4* hotel. Its simply an air BnB with a reception. staff very nice - no criticism there. the room we had was 100meters away and it was just a room in a block of flats - really!! wow. the breakfast in the basement was like many hotels and it was terrible, hard cooked eggs and some cakes - so sad for an Italian trip."

Excellent wine list All highly recommended for couples for truly unique moments The correct bill based on the quality of the products and the location. A big compliment to Adriano who was able to renovate this estate with taste and wisdom👏 We will definitely return, but this time not just to eat, but to relax in the beautiful rooms and be pampered by the top services of the Estate. "A great location and a wonderful unit and building. Near train station, lots of free parking. Most importantly the owners are splendid hosts. The lady of the house is joyful and a great pastry chef. Our breakfast was one the top. Amongst the offering was her home baked fresh apple cake. We could not eat all the food and where given our lunch with tin foil to wrap. Stayed at a lot of B&Bs put this one on your list."

"I booked our stay at The Palace after reading the 5 * reviews. We wanted somewhere special to celebrate our 25th anniversary and our stay more than exceeded our expectations. The wonderful Giuseppe, Fernando and Raffaela could not have done anything more for us. Prior to our visit Giuseppe organised our taxis and restaurants, he was always available on WhatsApp to help in any way he could. He met us from our taxi and in two minutes we arrived at the most beautiful building steeped in history. They have renovated it to a very high standard and you can feel the love that has gone in to it : their father’s dream. We stayed in the suite with the jacuzzi which meant we had the use of the patio and sun beds just outside our room. We spent more time at this hotel than any other we’ve stayed at due to the terrace, morning and evening we relaxed taking in the amazing views. Breakfast was delicious, mamma taking care to provide a great choice, the omelette, crispy bacon & her homemade cakes were especially delicious. Fernando was always so happy, the little chats we had with him over breakfast really added to our stay. Gallipoli has lots of amazing restaurants & bars, the beach is lovely, but never before have we felt so welcomed into a hotel/home, I felt very emotional on our last day, we have already decided to return when we can. Thank you all for the magical memories."

"The hotel is just outside Gallipoli and you can stay there without a needing car if you plan to stay mostly in the hotel. The building itself has been renovated to a good standard. The rooms are functional if a little plain and they are angled so that each room has a balcony, but this makes the shape of the room feel angular. The staff are nice. The food is OK but not great. The biggest disappointment is the beach. You have to walk a long, long way into the sea for the water to cover your legs. This was a major disappointment and put me off visiting again. Adjacent beaches apparently have great swimming but unfortunately not at the Costa Brada. The rooms are clean, in fact they have a little sign under the bed to show guests how clean the floor is!"

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles by Serena, Lorenzo, Elena and Giuseppe, who were kind and ready to assist even our "princes in the carriage" with their special requests. The attention to detail to make the experience comfortable is evident right from the accessible external parking and the side door to facilitate access. The interior of the hotel is bright, elegant and clean, with a courteous and professional reception team that provides useful advice on the surrounding venues, some of which have special agreements. The room is spacious and the bathroom impeccable. Special thanks go to Maurizio for his care in preparing the rich breakfast buffet. Ultimately, we felt welcomed and pampered throughout our stay, and we can't wait to return."

A huge thank you to everyone at Torre Assunta for making our stay so memorable. It's the people who truly make this hotel special, and we can't wait to return"

"From an interior and architectural point of view, this place is impeccable. With an eclectic interior, filled by beautiful objects and frames. A massive attention to details. Extremely clean and elegant. Truly impressive, however, I would’ve hoped the receptionist was adequate to the same level. The parking instruction was very confusing, we had too many luggage and it was around 10/15 minutes of an unpleasant walk from the parking area to the hotel under the sun. At check out our cards kept getting rejected as the card machine wasn’t responding due to poor wifi, etc.. we ended up paying cash but the receptionist had no change, no cashier and made it very difficult for us. Breakfast was €20 for two but was charged €30 at check out with no explanation. I found the receptionist untrained and unprofessional. What a shame as the rest of the staff were wonderful and helpful."

"We recently stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in June. From the check-in to the time we left, the hotel and its staff were a delight. The furnishings around the hotel are wonderful , the rooms are unique, comfortable and welcoming. The bathrooms are large and have everything you might need. There’s a rooftop bar which serves great cocktails ( we didn’t have the food )in a really nice setting . The sister hotel Palazzo Flora has one of the most unique pools you are likely to come across . We only had breakfast one morning but it was well prepared and very good value , the only problem being you will eat too much. What sets the hotel apart for me was the staff . From the professional check-in , to the maintenance crew, the staff who served the breakfast, Vincenzo the chef and finally the bar men, cocktail mixologists , every single one of them were friendly, personable, helpful, polite and good company . Special mention goes to Francesca , who is a joy . Nothing was too much trouble and , despite me changing our dates on a couple of occasions , more than happy to accommodate. I’d highly recommend this hotel ."
