"Overall, our stay was extremely wonderful, and we are very happy with all the services provided. Everything was well managed, and the hospitality truly made our experience memorable. A special thanks to Nutan from the Housekeeping team and Adarsh, who went out of their way to help us. Their support, politeness, and proactive approach were genuinely appreciated and made a significant difference to our stay. However, I would like to highlight one area of concern. We were quite disappointed with the behaviour of the swimming pool staff during our stay. On all three days, the staff was extremely rude in their communication. We initially wanted to raise a complaint immediately but chose to avoid escalating the matter at that time. On one occasion, we requested to carry towels for ourselves and our infant after swimming, which was denied in a very impolite manner. The situation could have been handled much more professionally. The following day, we again experienced rude behaviour regarding removal of footwear near the pool area. Such interactions were unpleasant and did not match the otherwise high standards of service at your hotel. I request you to please look into this matter seriously, take appropriate action, and brief the concerned staff on guest communication and etiquette. Apart from this issue, we truly enjoyed our stay and appreciate the efforts of your team."

"Rats in our room at Blue Ocean The Fern Resort & Spa Ganpatipule, Series by Marriott !! We have stayed at Fern properties at various locations however our stay at Blue Ocean The Fern Resort & Spa Ganpatipule, Series by Marriott has been a nightmare. We have checked - in on 11th April and our stay is for 2 days. On day one while we were about to wind up we were shocked to see a rat roaming around in our room. This is a hygeine issue which I am going to report to FDA authorities. Don't know what the rats had done to our snacks and eatables which we  had left in our room. We had to throw away all of it. The easiest option for the staff was to change our room and give us an alternate room which was equally pathetic. The fridge doesn't cool and the force of water to the shower is like a drip. But the staff has immediate explanation that the water tank is just over head and hence the force is like what it is on the first floor and fridge is for keeping chocolates which was laughable!! Also, since washroom locks don't work you have to shout when you in for a shower. Day 2 and here we go.. we left the place at 11am by putting up a board to make up the room. But as expected the room was not  cleaned and we had to just lay around in a messed up place!! Overall our stay was with the fear or rats and utter mismanagement of basic services and with a hope that our stay here ends at the earliest. Don't know how Marriott is tied up here since this is not where near Marriott standards and spoiling the brand here!!"

"We stayed for one day and the experience was not good. When we came back from beach we asked for the hot water but it's available only in the morning for two hours. We requested them to provide it on pay basis but they denied for that. There is nothing in the room apart from useless bed, poor quality bedsheets, pillows and one teapoy. It's like typical lodge where truck drivers stay."

"Terrible experience. At reception instead of a welcome, we were informed about list of things not available. No mobile range. No in room dinning. Rooms are so far away that you can't walk to reception or restaurant. You have to request a buggy and wait for 15 mins. Our 'Winter Green ' rooms were in a standalone building with peeling paint. No security, no staff. We roamed around, found our own rooms and settled ourselves. The resort is so poorly lighted that we can't dare to step out in dark. Just waiting to get this over."

Rates are very exorbitant compared with quality of room. Tv not working. Ac was good.
