"Our stay here at Yachting Club Mare was fantastic, a nice little, well presented hotel which was freshly renovated. It felt like we had the place to ourselves as it was fairly quiet which we loved. We were welcomed on arrival by the owner of the hotel, Giovanni, who was very pleasant, had a certain dry sense of humour about him which we took to very well. Unfortunately there was a slight language barrier which encouraged us to try some Italian, with the help of Google translate which he humoured and made for a few laughs. He recommended and helped us book an excursion to see the volcanoes by boat, and even drove us to the station in his personal car on check out The room itself was inviting, with air conditioning which was very much needed, a nice little balcony with a sea view. Breakfast was continental style and very nice, the lady in the breakfast bar was very friendly, spoke relatively good English and helped us with learning a few Italian phrases When getting home from our trip I had realised I had left my swimwear in the hotel room, and decided to contact the hotel to see if they had found it. Giovanni was very responsive in his e-mails and went above and beyond by kindly posting them to England for me, which was highly appreciated and couldn’t thank him enough for the gesture. Highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay again soon!"

"We had a good holiday here in July 2024 views are amazing room was spacious everything you need in the room & it was cleaned every day restocked towels shampoo shower gel & soap too also a hair dryer in bathroom enjoyed the free breakfast plenty of choice & the air conditioning lovely & cool the infinity was beautiful stunning views very relaxing only negative is the parking & would recommend a car overall great holiday"

"The residence is nice and has the possibility of having apartments with a corner cooking or only rooms. It is provided with paraplus and beds on the private beach included in the price. The rooms are clean, however, some more attention is needed to the details. My room had no clothes to put up the wet clothes, nor a cover in the case of a little cold night. In spite of the first week of July, there was no animation that was indicated in a brochure at the time of check-in. Use the free shuttle to go down to the sea."
