"The room was delightful. Clean, comfortable and well laid out. The shower was amazing and the bed was super comfy. Having a washing machine/ clothes dryer was so good. The kitchenette was very good it had everything you could want. We were given drink vouchers to use at the sky bar but the sky bar was closed. The day spa was not operational unfortunately. I was not impressed with the food however. The restaurant was fully booked so we had room service. No dressing on the salad, despite requesting it the next meal. Breakfast was very disappointing, coffee in paper cups is really bad if you’re sitting at a restaurant to dine. The buffet breakfast was poorly cooked, the scrambled eggs were horrible."

"The room is well-equipped and comfortable, clean and tidy, with a view outside the window. The front desk service attitude is very good, the parking space is a little tight, and it is a good choice for passing through. I feel that the blind box is opened well. Recommended. There is an entertainment city on the other side of the building where the hotel is located. The hotel locks the door at night, and it is safe to stay in the room."

"A very friendly and affordable hotel, perfect for tourists taking the Gladstone ferry to the island. The shop owner will drive to the dock the next day. They also helped us store our extra luggage in the store for free for four days and picked it up when we came back from the island. Very good, definitely recommended!"

"Gladstone city is a nice town and hotel is very near to city center although there are some issues with the stay itself as 1) Internet services provided in hotel is very poor, you cannot at any point of time get good signals in cabin and even after being raised the same issue, it was not resolved. 2) The hotel is not at all appropriate for vegan or vegetarian customers as they only have 2 to 3 dishes available ( Being a vegetarian it was a big issue for me). 3) Sometimes there is issue with restaurant like sometime you get incomplete order or even after charging they forget to provide dessert so be cautious. 4) Property is average. 5) Rooms are like 1 BHK flats nice and spacious you also get your own cutlery and hot plates to prepare your food a medium size refrigerator."

"Big complex. Three floors. No lift! Room was on 3rd floor! Room was a good size. Furniture old and tired. Curtains torn and badly water stained. Lock on balcony door was not attached to the wall so wouldn't lock. Kitchen was sparsely equipped. Not enough cutlery. Plates were dirty-had to wash them before we used them. Wouldn't stay here again. "

"The male owner/manager of the Siesta Villa Motel observed me topping up the radiator of my car using the kettle from my motel room. Any and every normal person would understand that this involved holding the kettle above the radiator opening and pouring in water – exactly the same as holding the kettle above a coffee mug and pouring in water and exactly the same as holding the kettle over a sink and pouring out water (e.g. to empty the kettle). Any and every normal person would understand that topping up a car radiator using a kettle would not, and could not, cause any harm or damage to the kettle. There was no contact between the kettle and any part of my car – there was simply no need for the kettle to touch anything. Well, the male owner/manager abused me for using the kettle to top up my radiator. I’m not kidding! He literally abused me in a very hostile way. And he told me to throw out the kettle because it was now contaminated with oil and that I needed to pay him $20.00 to buy a new one. I stress – no part of the kettle had any contact whatsoever with any part of my car. You can picture pouring water from a kettle into a radiator, yes? The male owner/manager of the Siesta Villa Motel is an irrational, illogical, unscrupulous person! In my opinion, this person does not have the intelligence or personality needed to deal with paying customers."
