Golmud Hotels with Gym

Great value for money, I'd definitely book this hotel again. Beyond the standard budget hotel offerings, there were some nice touches: plenty of space to put things, several comfortable chairs/sofas, a humidifier, a vanity table, a full-length mirror, a dedicated cabinet for bath and hand towels, sterilized plastic slippers, a smart speaker (Xiao Ai), and complimentary brewed tea at the front desk. Breakfast was decent, though the plain congee and fried rice could be improved. The parking lot is large, and there's a delicious boneless meat restaurant nearby.

The room was pretty good, and I especially liked the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. The front desk staff were really welcoming and enthusiastic. My only suggestion would be to provide disposable toilet seat covers – that would make it even better!

Environment: Very close to the pedestrian street (5-minute walk), great location! Service: The front desk staff and other staff were very friendly! Airport shuttle service: Punctual and convenient, excellent! The lamb skewers downstairs were also delicious and reasonably priced. A small suggestion: the oxygen device in the room makes a ”popping” sound when it starts and stops at night, which slightly affects sleep. It would be helpful to turn it down a bit to prevent it from stopping. Overall, an excellent experience, definitely worth checking out! 👍

The hotel boasts a prime location, convenient transportation, and free parking, making parking hassle-free for drivers. The spacious and bright twin room with oxygen supply was excellent, with soft and comfortable bedding. The diffused oxygen supply throughout the room greatly helped alleviate altitude sickness, allowing me to sleep soundly through the night. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, the facilities were new, and the soundproofing was good. The front desk service was warm and efficient, and check-in was quick. The breakfast offered a variety of options, sufficient for replenishing energy during the journey. The surrounding area is convenient for dining and shopping, and it's not far from the train station. As a rest stop along the loop, it offers great value for money and is highly recommended for tourists visiting Golmud.
