However, it's a shame that the counter for Japanese people that used to be there is no longer there, but I still think this is the No. 1 hotel on Maui. There are very few photos of the hotel, but they are of the club lounge or the restaurant next to the golf course.

On the first day of staying in the room, we were arranged a room far away. There were flies on the floor. Ctrip filed a complaint. But the hotel's recreational facilities are really good. The breakfast is OK, but the fruit is not very fresh.

The front desk receptionist was very upset. Although I requested to arrange twin beds in two rooms more than two months in advance, Ctrip obviously did not do its job well. It’s a nice resort in a great location, however plenty of hidden fees, we paid for breakfast which wasn’t anything special, scrambled eggs from powder, coffee was pretty bad and weak and you had to pay extra which we only learned about when we paid 160$ for breakfast. Lack of healthy food and not suited for people who eat healthy unprocessed food. I really liked the towel service, it was very convenient. Our room this time however (we stayed in the same hotel a week earlier) was not as great as our previous, it was more used, the fridge constantly leaking, and the air con did not work as well as in the previous room (it was ground floor with garden) And the worst thing was, I requested a quiet room but we got one of the connected rooms and we could not fall asleep till round 23:00 when a screaming family next door finally put their kids to bed. It was really noisy. Big plus for the pools and hot tub. They really were nice

Good location but lacks some privacy The hotel is in a great spot — right on the beach with beautiful ocean views just steps away. Perfect base for exploring South Maui and chilling at Keawakapu Beach. However, the room was a bit smaller than expected, and the biggest downside was the huge glass window facing the hallway — everyone walking by could see straight inside unless we kept the curtains closed all the time. Felt a bit awkward. Overall still a decent stay because of the location and beach access, but definitely could use some improvements in room layout and privacy.

Facilities: Very new, but the mattress is very soft, soft to the point of collapse, like hard beds can avoid lightning. Don’t get breakfast package, they don’t serve breakfasts anymore, but they still charge you in the reservation. Also, they don’t refund that portion. They also don’t clean up the rooms unless you get a week or more, and they only clean it once. Some staff aren’t very friendly, like the towel guy. Nice views though and nice pool.

The Four Seasons Hotel really lives up to its reputation. The overall service is very good, and the room layout is also great. The swimming pool in particular is very impressive. However, I feel that the service for foreign tourists can be more detailed.
