Liping Holiday Hotel

"The only proper hotel in Liping Scenic Area, very close to the gate of the scenic area, less than ten minutes' walk. I stayed in District E, the room was large and clean. Although the facilities were not new, they were generally acceptable. There was plenty of hot water, and the buffet breakfast was OK. The food was richer on weekends, probably because there were many tourists."

"Before coming to Hanzhong, I saw the weather forecast predicted rain, which made me a bit worried. But this hotel made even a rainy day enjoyable. The soundproofing of the windows in the room was excellent; despite the heavy rain outside, I couldn't hear a thing indoors. Sitting, sipping tea, and listening to the rain actually felt very relaxing. Even more thoughtful, the concierge proactively offered umbrellas and pointed out indoor places to explore nearby. The laundry room was a lifesaver for my wet clothes – just threw everything in to dry, and it was all sorted. I never expected that visiting Hanzhong on a rainy day could be so pleasant, all thanks to the hotel's thoughtful and hassle-free service. "As a Ctrip Gold Diamond user, I have never given a bad review to any hotel, and this is the only one so far. As a native of Shaanxi, I was looking forward to returning to Hanzhong, but I was speechless about the hotel. The room was large, and the price was okay for a short holiday, more than 700 yuan per room, thinking that my parents would live better. The check-in attitude and speed were okay, and there were staff members to greet them at any time. There was also evening tea and snacks delivered to the room that night, and a free bathing ticket on the underground first floor, but unfortunately I didn't go. The breakfast was also rich, with a combination of Chinese and Western food. Everything was broken when I checked out at noon the next day. When I checked out, a lobby manager smiled and communicated with me and proposed to give a good review. Less than 30 minutes after I left, the hotel called and said that the stains on the pillowcase could not be washed off and compensation was required. Did they think that the out-of-town guests had already left and there was no proof, so they had to pay compensation? We turned back to the hotel room to collect evidence. They said the pillowcase had been washed but not cleaned. There were suspected coffee stains and many similar mottled mildew spots next to it (could the mildew spots also be caused by me staying there for one night?). The two elderly people always like cleanliness in all hotels they stay in, and they don’t drink coffee. How is it possible that there is coffee on the pillow? Another lobby manager negotiated for a long time and said forget it and don’t need to compensate. If ordinary guests leave and don’t come to collect evidence, will they be compensated? My parents’ going out taught me another lesson. In the future, I must use a magnifying glass to look carefully when I check in a hotel. The happy mood along the way disappeared on the way home. I will not choose to stay in such a hotel again. Finally, I will post a few pictures for everyone to encourage each other."
