Le Grand Hotel

"pros: location, rooms cons: service(casual service),not provided dental kit (we had to ask them), could not provide breakfast which was complementary at 7:30 in the morning even if they had said they would.Sevice is a little slow and casual which needs to be developed."

Hotel Raj Mandir Hotels in Haridwar

Hotel Raj Mandir

"The standard rooms are slightly small for more than two people, but comfortable for 2 adults and 1 child. If you’re arriving by personal car, reaching the hotel gate can be a bit tricky due to the narrow access, but it’s manageable if you’re coming by cab—they send staff to help with luggage, and the hotel is just 50 meters off the main road. The best part is its location: right next to the Mansa Devi ticket counter and just about 500 meters (walking distance) from Har Ki Pauri. Overall, the staff is polite, the food is good, and the room service is efficient. I’d rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars."

Hotel Purple Dot Haridwar

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Stay at Purple Dot Hotel, Haridwar! We visited Purple Dot Hotel in Haridwar three weeks ago and had a fantastic experience. The manager, Kuldeep, was very polite and professional, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The chefs went above and beyond, preparing fresh and delicious dishes, including special gluten-free options, which we really appreciated. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and offered great value for money. I would highly recommend Purple Dot Hotel to anyone visiting Haridwar and gladly give them a full 5-star rating for their excellent service and hospitality."

Alpana Hotel ★★★
"Hotel Alpana, Haridwar, proved to be one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had in over 15 years of frequent travel. I had booked the property for one night ***** with my 70-year-old mother. Unfortunately, the hotel’s contact numbers listed on the voucher were invalid, and repeated attempts to reach them went unanswered until after the 1 PM cancellation deadline. Once I managed to connect, the hotel informed me that no cars or public vehicles can reach the property, and guests must walk nearly 1.5 kilometers from the main road, carrying their luggage themselves. This information was never disclosed on their MakeMyTrip listing — a serious omission, especially for elderly travelers or those with medical conditions. Despite explaining the situation and submitting my mother’s medical documentation, the hotel refused to consider a refund or even a partial adjustment, citing a two-hour delay in cancellation. Their tone was uncompassionate, rigid, and unprofessional, completely disregarding the genuine hardship involved. Hotels should prioritize transparency, accessibility information, customer empathy, and flexible problem-solving — traits this property clearly lacks. Such experiences undermine trust in both hospitality partners and booking platforms. Strongly advise travelers to avoid this hotel, especially if you are traveling with elderly family members or require accessible accommodation."
