I had to ring a doorbell and wait for quite some time for someone to come to the window where I had to stand outside and talk to the person. A key was passed to me under the window. I should have refused the room and left. But I was in town for a soccer tournament and this was the only place left with rooms."

"Had stayed at this location multiple times before for surgery at UMMC the location is great and convenient but this time we had a bad experience it was noisy with people going in and out of rooms in the middle of the night with loud noise, banging and barking from dogs.we were highly disappointed"

"Did you ever have a perfect weekend at a destination event? I just did! The Fairview Inn, Jackson, Mississippi. I hosted a 40 person bridal shower for my niece and a smaller family birthday party on consecutive days last weekend in a gorgeous refurbished 1908 Southern mansion amidst lovely grounds. Guests came from several states and were transported to an earlier time in the lovely setting while enjoying delicious food, great service, individually curated rooms, and their favorite cocktails. Innkeepers Tamar and Peter Sharp have created a very special Southern hospitality experience. We somehow managed to feel like honored guests and family at the same time. At the end of the weekend, no one wanted to leave. We all left trying to figure out a reason to return as soon as possible!"

"Honestly, this hotel stay was very rough. When I entered my room, the table and desk chair were strangely stacked on the sofa as though they were moved for vacuuming and never put back (see images). The doors to enter the hotel seemed like they were barely staying on the hinges (It honestly felt kind of unsafe). The hotel was very dirty: I found corners filled with dust, someone else's hair in my sink (the hair was black and I am a redhead), paint was peeling everywhere (guest room doors, ceiling, etc.). But the worst part of the stay was the business center. As I was traveling for work, I made sure to pick a hotel that advertised having a business center as I new I would need to print some documents during my stay. When I went to use this hotel's business centers, none of the computers worked. I asked a front desk agent for help and they nonchalantly just said they have no way for guests to print. In situations at other hotels where business centers have been down before, I have had desk agents offer to print what I needed on their back-of-house printer. Here, rather that offering to help they just said I am out of luck. I ended up having to take an Uber at 7pm to a ups to print a few Word documents."

"This was our first time staying in Mississippi outside of my Keesler AFB training, and I’m extremely disappointed by the experience at this hotel. When we arrived on June 28, 2025, the room had a strong foul odor, visible cockroaches, and a dirty blanket. We decided not to stay because the conditions were clearly unsanitary and unacceptable. When I brought this to the front desk, instead of apologizing or investigating, they falsely accused us of messing up the room just because the pillows had been moved — and then asked us to leave without a refund. This was completely unprofessional and felt like an attempt to avoid accountability. This experience was not only frustrating but also damaging to what could have been a positive trip. I sincerely hope this location gets inspected and cleaned up so others don’t go through the same. Their reservation line repeatedly transferred us back to the front desk, even though I clearly selected the option for cancellations. The front desk had only one staff member, who was frequently away, and it felt like they were intentionally avoiding us to avoid issuing a refund."
