GGuest UserMy husband, another couple, and I visited Williamsburg at the end of the Memorial Day weekend and what a gem we found in the Cedars. Leroy welcomed us when we arrived and graciously showed us our rooms and explained the arrangements. It was great to have a little fridge where we could store a few items we had in our cooler bag and to have newspapers and comfortable lounging spots both inside and out. Both rooms were exactly as advertised. We had rooms on the main floor of the house. They both felt spacious with their high ceilings. I give the owners credit for creating comfortable bathrooms despite space restrictions. I loved having a chair in my room and endulged myself with a little introvert time after our first day before we headed out to dinner. The next morning we had the opportunity to meet Alex who was such a delight--it's truly hard to share adequately. He took the opportunity to get to know us and then shared personal experiences which were both interesting and really humorous. Definitely can imagine standup in his future. We would all highly recommend the Cedars and would revisit again if the opportunity provided.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel before and I was disappointed. I came here again because I am with Choice Hotel Rewards and thought to give it another chance. What I can say this time was; hot water for my tub constant and constant working Wi-Fi. Overall since my last review on this hotel I can say I am satisfied. My room was clean and spacious, hot water, Wi-Fi working, so I was pleased. Also location is great for downtown Williamsburg, you can walk there in under 30 minutes. For the price of the hotel and location, you can't beat. Also, there is a pancake house restaurant across the street for breakfast, excellent breakfast place.
