The hotel is tucked away in the Liuye Lake Resort area, within Daxiaohe Street. It's a designer hotel that opened in 2023, featuring retro red brick buildings alongside bluestone streets. Open the window and you're greeted with a stunning lake view that blends with the sky. Every photo taken here looks like a民國 (Republic of China era) blockbuster – it's super photogenic! 📸 What truly impressed me was the meticulous attention to detail! Even the carpet on the second-floor staircase was neatly secured with metal strips, and the edges were perfectly finished. From the soft furnishings to the hardscaping, everything exuded sophistication. You can feel the immense care put into its upkeep, making for a wonderfully comfortable stay.~ Our balcony view room was absolutely stunning! Stepping out, you're on a massive balcony with direct lake views. Not only that, but we could clearly see the live performances from the second floor. Watching the show with the lake breeze in the evening – the ambiance was incredible, and it was such a delightful surprise! 🌊 For those with kids, the breakfast is a must-try! The variety of main dishes is super rich, with a choice of noodles, pastries, and more. The portions are generous and delicious, and the kids ate their fill, so we didn't have to worry about breakfast at all. ~ The hotel is generally child-friendly, with a quiet and safe environment. With its retro courtyard and beautiful lake scenery, it's perfect for family outings, holidays, or even just for taking photos. "Checking in was a hassle from the start. The location was tricky to find; it said 7th floor, but you actually had to go to the 1st floor to check in. When I asked the front desk, they said several hotels were merged and you had to check in separately. I had booked in advance, but when I arrived to check in, they told me they might not have a suitable room. The front desk suggested that if I wasn't happy, I could just check out. This was during the May Day holiday, and I had planned and booked ahead. They didn't inform me of this situation beforehand, just wanted to dismiss me by offering a refund. What's up with that? As expected, when I checked in, there were only three leftover rooms to choose from – either incredibly smelly or tiny. What was the point of booking a room then? I had no choice but to take the small room. Thinking about it now, it's really infuriating. The service was absolutely subpar. Besides the small room, the hotel uses one floor as two, so the ceiling height is very low, making it feel incredibly cramped. Even the picture of the hotel's main entrance is fake. I do not recommend this place at all. The price was already double the usual rate for May Day. Enough said, I will never come back."

Whether it is to go to famous attractions such as Liuye Lake in Changde, or go shopping and dining in the business district, the transportation is very convenient. As soon as you step into the lobby, you will find Lavande's signature elegant lavender fragrance, which makes people feel soothing and tranquil in an instant. The design of the room is mainly simple and modern, with the iconic lavender purple elements dotted with a warm atmosphere. The mattress is moderately firm and the high-quality bedding ensures a good night's sleep. The intelligent guest control system in the room is very convenient, and a voice command can adjust the lights, curtains and air conditioning. The shower system has sufficient water pressure, and it is equipped with brand-specific fragrance bath products, which wash away the fatigue of the day. It is worth mentioning that the free buffet breakfast provided by the hotel is rich in variety, and the local rice noodles and exquisite pastries can be satisfied. The service of the front desk staff is also very intimate. Overall, Lavande Hotel has provided a comfortable stay far beyond expectations for my trip to Changde with its unique fragrance experience, intelligent room configuration and high cost performance. "It was my first time staying in this hotel. The environment was very good, the facilities and equipment were very new, and the MSS at the front desk checked me in very quickly. The hotel's buffet breakfast was on the 4th floor, and there was also a self-service laundry room and gym on the 4th floor. There was also a separate underground parking lot inside the hotel, and no license plate entry was required, which was rare in other hotels. Parking and exit were super convenient. There was also a delicious late-night snack shop opposite at night, which was open until very late, and was very friendly to people who stayed up late."
