"This hotel has stunning beach views. It is very relaxing and quiet. I would say it can be a quiet honeymoon destination. It is quite isolated though and we did not find any restaurant options nearby, ir anything to do really, except for water sports in the beach, which is closeby. We did jet ski for 150rmb for 15 minutes, and a big inflatable water ride for 300rmb for around 15 minutes. The dinner and lunch menu are nice but I think it lacks variety. We enjoyed the prawns fried rice and the carbonara pasta. There were some cakes to buy for around 46-68rmb per slice, which we did not try. We took a didi to a supermarket and got some fresh fruit and snacks instead. Breakfast was really not very good for us as there were no western style options and it was very limited. All we found to eat was fruit (I found the watermelon was fresh in morning breakfast but not for afternoon tea). I also had some boiled corn, my kids had white bread. The staff Is very friendly yet no one there speaks English. They added my WeChat which made it helpful. The room was idyllic and seeing the sunset from my bed was amazing. My son loved the bath too. The swimming pool is not really a real pool but more like a pond for a quick splash. I would come again for 1 night only and enjoy a quiet time, but for families, singles or people who like more active holidays I would say there are many other options. We also stayed at the Howard Johnson and that one has a huge amount of options and activities for children, teen and families."

"The hotel has just opened, and the environment inside is quite good. There is a very warm feeling when you enter. There are also a variety of breakfasts in the morning. The service of the waiter at the front desk is very good. It is a hotel worth recommending!"

"The hotel is well-equipped and very clean. The back door of the ground floor lobby offers direct access to the beach, and the rooftop is perfect for taking photos. They offer complimentary popsicles, which is a thoughtful touch. They also provide free sand toys for children, and even complimentary plastic flowers and phone stands. Adult swimming floats are available for rent at the beach for just 20 yuan, and you can use them for as many days as you like. Overall, it's a truly excellent and dependable choice."

"Facilities: Traveling with children, we booked two rooms, and having a living area made our stay much more comfortable. The rooms were new, very comfortable, bright, and offered direct sea views. The pleasant environment was truly relaxing. However, the living area lacked a sink, and there weren't many power outlets. With young children, we had to go to the bathroom every time we needed to wash or rinse anything, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, with our three-year-old, the beds couldn't be pushed together, and the front desk didn't have bed rails. We worried about our child falling off the bed all night, which was the only real downside. Just outside the main entrance, across the road, there's a beach. The sand quality was excellent, and the water was quite clear. The next morning, we even caught small crabs and fish, which was a lot of fun. Finding such a great beach made us quite satisfied with the hotel overall. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Very good. Service: Excellent. The front desk staff came to our room several times after we called. There's a restaurant on the first floor. Although it's a bit pricey, the ambiance is nice, and the food is quite good. Breakfast, however, was just average; when we went down around 9:30 AM, some items were already gone. There are also a restaurant and a dessert place on the fourth floor, but unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to visit them."

"The setting, views, and location are all absolutely superb. This hotel in Shuangyue Bay is a true hidden gem and highly recommended! The room's ambiance is simply captivating. During my holiday in Shuangyue Bay, the atmosphere of this hotel room made me instantly want to stay in! The overall design embodies a gentle 'island slow living' aesthetic, featuring light teal walls paired with natural wood furniture. The wardrobe is adorned with embedded shell decorations, and even the curtains are fresh, striped designs. Stepping inside, you instantly feel embraced by a gentle sea breeze, and all your fatigue melts away. What I loved most was the room's clever play with light and shadow. In the morning, sunlight filters softly through the sheer curtains onto the light grey carpet, creating a beautiful dappled and gentle pattern. At night, turning on the bedside lamp illuminates a warm, starry sky projection on the ceiling, allowing you to 'stargaze' right from your bed – it's both romantic and incredibly soothing. The bedding was wonderfully soft and even carried a faint lavender scent. Combined with the subtle sound of ocean waves outside, I drifted off to sleep incredibly quickly."

"The water park was good, and the kids had a blast with all the facilities. The beach is large with a long coastline, but the sand is very coarse, making it uncomfortable to walk on. The rooms are old and dated. The shower room was the dirtiest, and even the obscure corners of the washbasin were filthy. The cleanliness standards are clearly lacking. On the plus side, the balcony is long and good for drying clothes. The breakfast buffet food was placed in the corridor, which felt unhygienic. Worse yet, an old man in a bathrobe repeatedly reached into the serving dishes with bare hands to grab fruit and eat it, piece after piece. It was appalling, and no staff intervened. Furthermore, staff were serving boiled eggs onto plates with their bare hands, without gloves – truly shocking. However, the outdoor lobby bar was lovely in the evenings, with live singing performances, framed by fireworks over the sea and the water park's pool. It was quite beautiful. What they call a hotel is actually a complex of five apartment buildings, suggesting a very large number of rooms. The lobby was also dirty, understaffed, and chaotic. Upon check-in, there was no one to greet us, and we had to manage our own luggage cart. **Cleanliness:** Poor **Environment:** Good **Service:** Understaffed"

"It was the first time I drove from Henan to Huizhou with my parents and children. There are restaurants and convenience stores downstairs of the hotel. It takes two minutes to go downstairs to the beach. Although it is not the closest building to the beach, you can still see the sea from the room. It is so beautiful to live on a high floor and enjoy the sea view! The boss knew that the child was a girl and specially changed a Hello Kitty theme parent-child room for her. The room facilities are complete, the interior space is large, there is a small refrigerator, and the air conditioning is also awesome. It is also equipped with a disposable toilet seat, and even the bath towel is disposable to avoid reuse. The beach sand is as fine as flour, and it is super comfortable to step on bare feet. On the first night, I wandered around the beach and picked up a small cuttlefish and a palm-sized shrimp. The people who were catching the sea next to me were envious. The hotel owner said that he had never picked up such a big shrimp here for many years (the boss is from Hubei, and the boss's wife is local). The most important thing is that I didn't bring any tools for catching the sea, and the boss provided them for free! ! And there is also a free transparent box for small shells! ! I tried both sea catching and squid fishing, it was fun and I will come again next time."

"This hotel is brand new and significantly better than Sihai. The rooms are spotlessly clean, odor-free, and very well-equipped, featuring amenities like background music, electric curtains, and excellent lighting. The air conditioning gets wonderfully cold, and my kids absolutely loved it!"
