"Room was nice, bed was comfortable. Was a bit disappointed that the pool was closed for repairs. For that reason we only stayed for one night. Staff very friendly and attentive and the location is well positioned between the airport and the downtown."

"11/10. Been booking with Diane for quite some time, my partner and I. This has been our favorite hotel in Cebu, and we are gatekeeping it lol But in our recent stay, I feel like we were not supposed to have the correct room that we're supposed to get, but not really sure about it. I booked a Superior Room with a City view so we can watch some fireworks during Christmas Eve, but when we came into the room, the window was a small one, and when we tried to open the window, we could only see equipment outside blocking the window and the view; the window was forced to just open maybe just 5 inches and that's it. I don't know what City View I was supposed to see. Overall, that's just my only concern. The girl from the reception wearing white did not seem happy (those that are in green uniforms are fine, I love them and those in the dining area even in the rooftop - but the girl in the reception that day idk whats with her) when giving us the room key, she was smiling a little bit, but I could feel she wanted us to just go and disappear in front of her. Overall, we just brush it off and moved on with our day and enjoyed the view from that little window and the from the rooftop. We still love Diane's and will still keep recommending this to our friends and family ofcourse. 11/10."

"I booked this place wondering if it was the same one we stayed at for our honeymoon 19 years ago, and it was exactly as I remembered. The facilities are definitely showing their age now; the air conditioning is noisy, and many areas clearly need renovation. However, the surrounding ocean and swimming pool were still incredibly beautiful and lovely. Unfortunately, there's a large building under construction right behind the property, which has been going on for years. I imagine it would be quite noisy on weekdays, but since we stayed over the weekend, it was quiet and pleasant for us. Most importantly, the stars in the night sky were so incredibly clear – it was completely rejuvenating. Also, on our first day, I accidentally left my bag in a Grab taxi, and the staff were incredibly helpful in assisting me. I was very grateful for their efforts. The staff at the breakfast buffet were also very friendly, especially one older gentleman who was exceptionally kind. The breakfast menu changed slightly over our three-day stay, and they even made omelets fresh and brought them to our table, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant view is also stunning. Because of the loud air conditioner, we'd turn it on when we left for swimming or meals, and then turn it off when we came back to the room. There are three swimming pools, with varying depths like 4, 5, 8, and 12 feet. Being able to swim while looking out at the ocean is just beautiful. If you enter a less crowded pool, a staff member will even come over and clean it for you."

"I had a recent overnight stay at Fili Hotel Cebu with my wife and overall it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and good facilities. Service was polite and efficient, though not particularly standout. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and good presentation, but the flavors were fairly average and leaned towards the safe side. Overall, a solid and comfortable stay, though it falls a bit short of being truly memorable."

"This is our fourth time to stay in this area of Mactan Lapu-Lapu. Each time we have stayed in the same building but in different condo units. The area is great and is developing every time we have visited. Very close to the beach, restaurants, shops etc. Staff were friendly and helpful but there were a few occasions I had to call the lobby or go to the front desk to remind them about things. The apartment building is getting older needs a lot of maintenance, the cracks on the wall weren’t as much of a big issue but the shower wasn’t secured to the wall properly, the glass door made a loud cracking sound every time we closed or opened it, the shower/ bath made the floor wet this caused the water to get under the tiles and move the tiles when I stepped on them. The water drainage was slow that I would be standing in a bath while having a shower, there were chips along the brown panel around the bottom of the wall. Rust on some of the things in the condo too. The pool also had titles missing and two panels of the glass which I had noticed when we had stayed two years ago hadn’t been fixed. The lounger chairs we had previously experienced replaced with uncomfortable chairs and tables."

"The food at the restaurant is very delicious. The price is cheap, there is a pool, and the facilities are good. The showers are cold water, so it may not be suitable for people who can't stand water. There is a sari-sari store right in front of the hotel, so you can buy water, beer, juice, and snacks at local prices. The owner can only speak English, but he is friendly and very nice. There is a bar counter where the owner makes the food for you."

"Wonderful place to stay at in Mactan. The staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant offers very tasty meals. The swimming pool is squeaky clean, with a view on the sea. Some may feel that it's a little far from the main road and the nightlife, but for our family with kids this was a definite plus. Tricycle rides take you easily wherever you need to be."

"If you're looking for a a mountain scenic view, you should expect it to be a bit difficult for the location. So I wasn't really overly surprised that the road isn't as perfect but for the view its all worth it. Were lucky to be there on a weekdays so we have the whole place to ourselves. We rented their motorbike for it to be convenient to travel and get to shops coz they have a little kitchen so you can cook. Unfortunately Osmena peak was still close the time we went yet the place made it comfy for us to stay. I recommend this hotel specially for couples and young adults.."
