"It is a very interesting place to stay. I had a room with a seperate bathroom, which was fine as I was alone. The toilet was also seperate (and you get a toilet and also a toilet in your bathroom). So that is handy of you are with two people. Room was clean and large. What is truly nice about this place is just the history and all the services that they had. There are shuttle buses all over the park and even a shuttle bus from and to Manly. So that was great! Restaurant was lovely too.. personally I found it a bit pricey compared to other restaurants in Australia and they did not have the specials. But, the food was good, service was great and they had some live music. So overall I enjoyed it!"

"I don’t usually go out of my way to give hotel reviews. Postive or negative. However I must for this hotel. I was recommended this hotel by someone I am having a meeting with in the area. It was shockingly expensive, but I figured it would be worth it due to location and it was recommended by my contact. I don’t always stay in 5star, but when staying in 5star, and super expensive, I absolutely expect 5star service. 1. Having being dropped off at the hotel there was zero bell boy to help with my luggage. I did all myself. After going inside the hotel I was asked if I would like help with my bags, but replied I already had them… again I already go it myself. 2. At every single hotel I stay in the world it’s common when you ask at reception, how is my room, do I have a good view or location they check and my change it a little for better location or room type if they have vacancies. I was replied to by the girl in reception in a somewhat arrogant manner, sir you have the standard room… with zero intent to look to see if there was better option. In countless years and counties I’ve never had this response. At lease some carding or trying, even if they were full but not just arrogant cold “you have standard”. 3. The sauna advertised is NOT free. It’s paid extra and you need to book. Why would a hotel advertise sauna when it’s an additional cost. In addition it closes at 7:30pm. In all my years I’ve never been to a hotel where it closes so early. How can one have meetings and get back to have a sauna in time. When I complained about this also I was met with coke arrogant smiles. 4. The last day on check out in morning there was no body at the front desk. Zero. Very strange. Never have I been in a hotel there was no body in reception. Even more so strange for such an expensive hotel. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I would in fact go, and have done put my way to NOT recommend. Not even a 1 star. For the price this is ridiculously over priced. The arrive is a lousy 1 star budge hotel. In fact a 1 star would have friendlier and better authentic service. On one positive note. The gym is amazing. The gym is a 5star as it’s not a “hotel gym” but a membership gym part of hotel. My overall rating therefore is a 2 star for the gym alone. Hotel for the price they charge and the well below average service zero!"

"This is an almost perfect hostel, for sure one of the best I've ever been! Great staff, really good breakfast included, billard pool and couches plus the various activities (as well as possible bike, Beachvolleyball etc rental for free!) make it easy to connect quickly. Also, the beds are very comfortable amf the curtain provides some privacy too. Only point for improvement: an air condition in the room would be great. But the Ventilator worked fairly well too."

"First line on the beach. The beach is very beautiful and popular. The hotel is small but cozy. Delicious breakfast menu. The room is small, the service is good, but the cleanliness of the room is 3, there is dust on the curtains, the windows are dirty. In the bathroom, when taking a shower, water flowed into the corridor onto the carpet. Overall the hotel left a pleasant impression. Proximity to all cafes and shops. 10 minute ferry walk to Sydney city centre. There is also a supermarket in the area."

"The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the pier, downstairs is the seaside, and it takes about Shelly beach 15-20 minutes to walk. Two two bedrooms with two small stairs, can cook, tableware is relatively complete, the exhaust fan of the double bathroom is a bit noisy, the carpet is not very clean, it is suitable for family travel for a few days ～"

"Very middle of the road and a bit pricey for what it is. 100m to the beach is nice, but 1k to the center. Not dirty, but exactly clean... typical beach house. Staff is a almost too laid back, but very friendly and helpful. As a mother and son traveling together they gave us a room with two beds and when our door didn't lock and they quickly fixed it. The room had plenty of space and was well furnished with a couch and table for four. The ”kitchen” had a double sink, medium fridge and microwave, with basic tableware including a cutting board and knives!"

"A moment after entering the room, I was shocked by the oncoming Pacific Ocean and it was too relaxing. Open the balcony door and listen to the sea. Close the door and watch TV quietly. I will choose here next time. ～"

"The atmosphere in the hotel was good. The correspondence of the employees was very kind. Very convenient access at the hotel. Toilets and shower rooms are clean."
