"Clean and comfortable room with very good beds, warm quilts and a choice of pillows.
The hot springs were great and the service staff excellent. There are more than one hot spring pools.
Breakfast was very good with a very large selection of foods. The standard was very high.
The only thing which we felt wasn’t great was the noise of children screaming all over the resort and the incessant fireworks until around 10pm. That is not the hotel’s fault, but their guests. I’m not sure what could be done to improve this, as it affects all guests.
I would stay here again though, for sure. The proximity to Xiling Snow Mountain (20 minutes by car), the comfortable bed and the excellent breakfast are all a big plus!"

"We stayed at Qixi Guest House in Dayi, Sichuan with our two kids and chose the River View Loft Room — and it was such a lovely experience.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved it because they had their own space in the loft area. There were plush toys and books prepared for them, which made it even more special. The loft area also had a warmer, so it stayed cozy and comfortable.
The owner is very kind, and the place is managed by two elderly ladies who are incredibly sweet — they reminded us of our own grandmothers. They were so warm, caring, and genuinely helpful. They even helped us book taxis because it can be quite difficult to get a Didi in this area.
There are no halal restaurants nearby, so it’s best to bring ready-to-eat food from home. However, they knew we are Muslim and thoughtfully prepared halal-friendly breakfast for us — noodles, fried eggs, vegetables, buns, candy, nuts, and boxed milk. We truly appreciated their effort.
Downstairs, there is a shared kitchen area that guests can use. It’s well-equipped with utensils, a microwave, hot water dispenser (similar to Coway), and basic kitchen facilities — very convenient for families.
The only downside is that there is no lift. The building has three levels. We stayed on Level 2 (just one flight of stairs up from the ground floor), so it was manageable, but carrying heavy luggage could be challenging.
When we checked out, the owner even gave us a small gift bag with a keychain and fridge magnet — such a sweet gesture.
From the guesthouse, it takes only about 20 minutes by Didi to reach Xiling Snow Mountain. Just make sure to book your ride 20–30 minutes earlier because it can be hard to get a car in this area.
There are small shops nearby if you need drinks or basic items, but by around 9:40 pm, most places close and the area becomes very quiet.
The river view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The guesthouse is located at the foothill area with charming ancient China village vibes — peaceful and scenic. The hospitality was truly heartfelt. We also noticed many Malay guests have stayed here before, so they are familiar with preparing Muslim-friendly meals.
Overall, we had a very warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Xiling Snow Mountain."

"The location is great! Just get off and head down the slope on your left, and you're there. Cotti Coffee is right next door, which is super convenient for dropping off and picking up luggage. The hotel reception has some snow toys for kids that you can borrow for free – just return them when you're done playing. We didn't buy a sled for going up the mountain, so it was a pleasant surprise to find the hotel had them. Definitely saved us some money and effort!
We booked a lake-view room, and the pictures showed a bathtub. We were hoping to soak our feet after a long day, so we even brought disposable bath liners. However, this particular room didn't have one. Looking at the bathroom, it seems like there might have been one before, and it was removed during a renovation for some reason. The room next door did have one, though. While not a deal-breaker, it was a bit disappointing.
If having a bathtub is important to you, I'd recommend confirming with the front desk when you book.
The breakfast was good too, with plenty of variety. For over 2000 meters altitude, I think the quality is perfectly acceptable.
Xiling is really perfect for taking young children to play in the snow. The temperature is just right, and there are lots of entertainment options. You can even watch the sunrise and sea of clouds from the mountain top – truly amazing!
Just a side note: the underfloor heating was incredibly hot, especially in the middle of the night. I guess they're worried guests will get cold, but it was surprisingly warm. Drink plenty of water!"

"Overall, it was pretty good. It was my first time staying in a tent. The room was quite spacious, and right outside the tent was snow. Walking a short distance to the restroom was fine, though it was a bit inconvenient to go at night because of how cold it was. Inside the room, it was warm enough, but even with the heater and electric blanket on, the air still felt a bit chilly. It was perfectly fine once you were snuggled under the covers. The rooms were quite private, with a good distance between other tents, so overall safety felt good. This kind of stay is nice for one night for the experience, but probably not ideal for a longer stay. I originally wanted to try the 'stove-boiled tea' experience, but it was a bit pricey for just me, and they weren't offering it in the evening, so I skipped it. The service was good; you could communicate via WeChat, and the environment was also nice. There was snow everywhere, and for a first-time experience, it was pretty decent."

"The room facilities were excellent, with really powerful hot water, and the room itself was spacious and very clean. On the 5th floor, there's a laundry room and a gym, where you can wash and dry clothes. The front desk service was also superb. In the lobby, they offer hot water, drinks, and cookies, and someone immediately offers you hot water as soon as you enter. The service was very thoughtful. The environment is also nice, with plenty of convenient dining options nearby. This stay was a fantastic experience. The front desk had many cute little pandas on display, which looked great. Definitely coming back next time!"

"I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. I made the reservation about one month in advance, and the payment was charged according to the policy just 2–3 days before check-in, which felt very convenient and reassuring. The rate was around 2,xxx THB per night, offering excellent value for the overall experience. Although the staff were not fluent in English, it was hardly an issue at all. With the help of translation applications, communication was smooth and effortless, and the staff’s warmth and attentiveness spoke louder than words.
The bed deserves a perfect 10/10 — incredibly comfortable, inviting you to sink in and enjoy a deep, restful sleep. Waking up to the view was another highlight; the scenery was simply breathtaking, easily a 10/10, and made every morning feel calm, refreshing, and almost cinematic.
Breakfast was served in a traditional Chinese style, offering a delightful opportunity to immerse myself in local flavors. It was a comforting and authentic way to start the day, perfectly complementing the atmosphere of the stay.

"Just finished my stay at this hotel, and I must say it's been one of the most unexpectedly delightful experiences recently. From the moment of arrival, every single detail showed the hotel's meticulous care.
The hotel rooms are designed with expansive views, offering picturesque cityscapes or garden scenery through floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and even the mini-bar selection shows thoughtful consideration. I particularly appreciated the hotel's attention to detail – excellent soundproofing, a smart and convenient lighting and curtain system, and even thoughtfully placed power outlets. The private hot spring was superb in terms of privacy and comfort.
The staff were warm and efficient, even setting up a private service group to assist us.
The most impressive thing was when I realized my child had left their glasses in the room after we had checked out. I contacted the hotel staff, and they promptly helped find them and immediately arranged to mail them back to us. Hats off to their service!
I've already recommended this hotel to several friends and look forward to returning for another stay soon."

The details are well done, the parent-child room has Yunrou towels for the baby, and there is a fence to prevent the baby from falling off the bed (but the fence is not very stable). Don’t use the hotel terrace as a cave. The bedding and mattress are super comfortable, hygienic and clean, and the toiletries are also very high-end. The light is good and transparent. I was originally going to Chengdu for only one day, but I extended my stay because the room was nice. I had to catch the high-speed train early the next day, but I think it was worth it. The service of the lady at the front desk was very good. I recommend it!

HHwee1I had a wonderful stay at Tiangong Heyuan Hotel Huashuiwan. The staff were outstanding—professional, warm, and always ready to help. Every evening, they thoughtfully sent delicious local snacks to the room, which made the experience feel extra special.
The team was extremely helpful with public transport guidance and could even assist in arranging transport when needed, making travel smooth and stress-free. The hot spring facilities were incredibly comfortable, with clear and friendly instructions provided for first-time visitors.
The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and the added AI support made the stay even more convenient. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. I will definitely come back again!

When we were checking in, the lady at the front desk saw we were traveling with a child and thoughtfully upgraded us to a suite with a balcony, so our little one could enjoy the spectacular fireworks outside the window at night! The hotel boasts extensive hot spring facilities, including various temperature pools, dry and wet saunas, and a forest hot spring stream. It offers fantastic value for money, especially the sulfur hot spring, which is truly authentic. We had a wonderfully enjoyable 'hot spring dip' experience!

LLaoguidekaixinshuAnren is a charming museum town, home to numerous museums, most notably the expansive Jianchuan Museum which features a diverse range of collections. The hotel is conveniently located right in the town, just a short stroll from Anren Ancient Town. Though it's an older, garden-style property, the facilities are well-maintained and quite good. The rooms are spacious, clean, and wonderfully quiet at night. The service is exceptional, with staff demonstrating the warmth and attentiveness typically found in star-rated hotels. My only minor feedback is that rooms on the ground floor had a slight musty odor. Parking is convenient, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of choices.

RRoryHakunaThe camp was very clean and beautiful. Out of all places I've stayed during my trip to Chengdu & Xiling, their camp is the best. Up till today (we've checked out their camp for about 1 week+ now) we still talked about our experience there. It is very memorable.
Their staff are also very helpful. We couldn't find the camp at first and they sent staff to guide us. My mom left her charger at the camp and they willingly sent it to our next hotel. Their hospitality is the best!
At first, we were shocked that we have to hike(10-20mins) to get to the camp. We were shocked because we were tired since we have been traveling for the past 2 days and haven't rested properly. But when we reached there, it was all worth it! This camp was basically what we need to recharge ourselves.

I booked a downstairs room, and the window next to the bathtub opened up directly to the outside, meaning anyone could just walk in. So, I couldn't open the window at night to sleep. Even without the room heating on, it felt incredibly stuffy. I guess I'm just not used to this being from the south. I barely slept all night. I'd recommend southern visitors bring a portable humidifier and a small fan.

The front desk staff were very nice. We arrived at 12:00 PM, and they had a room ready for us, allowing us to check in early so we could drop off our things before heading out to play in the snow 👍🏻. I'd recommend checking the messages the hotel sends via Trip.com in advance and adding the concierge on WeChat for information on visiting the snow mountain.
The room itself was a bit dated, but the cleanliness was acceptable. Breakfast was terrible.
The room I purchased included VIP fast-track service, but it *did not* include tickets or the cable car. We had to pay an additional $240 per person for tickets and the cable car. However, a dedicated staff member did escort us to the hotel, bypassing the queues.
Overall, I spent over 3000 yuan for one night and felt it wasn't worth it. I wouldn't go back. Thankfully, it snowed on our first day, and I got a lot of beautiful photos; otherwise, this night would have been a complete waste!
