Guest UserService: It is a treasure homestay. There were not many people when I checked in, so I chose a twin room. The staff in the folk custom have a strong sense of service, are very enthusiastic, and are willing to respond to requests. They also take the initiative to introduce local characteristics and nearby tourist attractions. Coming here is like coming to a very familiar friend's home. It is warm and welcoming everywhere and will not make you feel stressed.
Environment: The environment is really nothing to say. There are three courtyards, and each courtyard has different micro-landscapes. The layout of each place is very attentive. You can see the water flowing in the ancient town when you go out of the door! You can also relax for a moment while sitting and drinking tea while watching the scenery.
The most amazing thing is the food:
I originally wanted to dine in the ancient town, and then I learned that I could also dine there. I was in the mood to try it. I didn't expect it to be amazing. It was delicious, just like being at home. Our family of three had a full belly every meal. Sesame oil duck, pig intestines and blood, milk soup noodles, dried radish, and Bobo chicken really made me linger. My husband and I, who don't eat spicy food, can't stop eating.
Hygiene: The hygiene in the room is OK, clean and tidy. This is the first time I stay in a homestay and don't know what other homestays look like. This one is good. There were mosquitoes in the house at that time, and the staff brought mosquito coils and mosquito repellent. Thumbs up!
Afternoon tea at your heart: I tried white tea, black tea, and canned milk tea. As the saying goes, only when your heart is calm can you taste the flavor. So everyone can experience it slowly according to their mood at that time.

The last two kilometers of the road leading to the courtyard from the main road were quite rough, a narrow path only wide enough for one car, making it quite challenging. However, once we arrived at the courtyard, it felt like a delightful surprise, like finding a beautiful village beyond a willow-shaded lane. Each time we arrived, the warm and welcoming owner was already waiting in the parking area, proactively helping us with our luggage. This courtyard is run by a lovely family, and you can feel the warmth of their home everywhere. The owners treat guests like family, their children are lively and cute, and even their cat is friendly and interacts with guests. The courtyard only has four rooms, each equipped with a private hot spring tub. Inside, there's also underfloor heating, a heater, and an electric blanket. After a day of playing in the snowy mountains, being able to soak in the outdoor balcony tub, listening to the rain and admiring the greenery, was incredibly relaxing. Additionally, the food at the courtyard is also commendable; the home-style stir-fries were fragrant and unforgettable. The entire guesthouse experience was perfect.

Guest UserThe environment of the homestay is quite good, the night is very quiet, the room is clean, and the Internet is completely different. There are various restaurants within a few minutes' walk, and you can also walk from the ancient town. The boss is a couple, very enthusiastic and talkative, and help solve any problems in time. The small courtyard is small and exquisite, and it is quite relaxing to live in. Special praise for the kittens in the small courtyard ”feeding not enough” and Xuanari ”Xiyue”, especially relatives, casually play cats and teasing dogs, the son in the small courtyard does not want to leave, is a homestay that will be brushed twice.

Guest UserThe community is elegant and especially quiet at night, with birdsong and flowers blooming, and views of the mountains in the distance. It truly is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The villa's location at the end of the building, with two large gardens, is perfect for gatherings with friends, walking the dog, or simply relaxing. The community is a short walk from the surrounding supermarkets, so you can bring your own breakfast supplies. A gas stove is available for heating up or frying eggs. Huashuiwan Town is a 10-minute drive away for sightseeing and dining.

We stayed at Qixi Guest House in Dayi, Sichuan with our two kids and chose the River View Loft Room — and it was such a lovely experience.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved it because they had their own space in the loft area. There were plush toys and books prepared for them, which made it even more special. The loft area also had a warmer, so it stayed cozy and comfortable.
The owner is very kind, and the place is managed by two elderly ladies who are incredibly sweet — they reminded us of our own grandmothers. They were so warm, caring, and genuinely helpful. They even helped us book taxis because it can be quite difficult to get a Didi in this area.
There are no halal restaurants nearby, so it’s best to bring ready-to-eat food from home. However, they knew we are Muslim and thoughtfully prepared halal-friendly breakfast for us — noodles, fried eggs, vegetables, buns, candy, nuts, and boxed milk. We truly appreciated their effort.
Downstairs, there is a shared kitchen area that guests can use. It’s well-equipped with utensils, a microwave, hot water dispenser (similar to Coway), and basic kitchen facilities — very convenient for families.
The only downside is that there is no lift. The building has three levels. We stayed on Level 2 (just one flight of stairs up from the ground floor), so it was manageable, but carrying heavy luggage could be challenging.
When we checked out, the owner even gave us a small gift bag with a keychain and fridge magnet — such a sweet gesture.
From the guesthouse, it takes only about 20 minutes by Didi to reach Xiling Snow Mountain. Just make sure to book your ride 20–30 minutes earlier because it can be hard to get a car in this area.
There are small shops nearby if you need drinks or basic items, but by around 9:40 pm, most places close and the area becomes very quiet.
The river view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The guesthouse is located at the foothill area with charming ancient China village vibes — peaceful and scenic. The hospitality was truly heartfelt. We also noticed many Malay guests have stayed here before, so they are familiar with preparing Muslim-friendly meals.
Overall, we had a very warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Xiling Snow Mountain.

MaojiezhanlitianhuabanzhilihuamaoFirst and foremost, the bed was incredibly comfortable, which was the most important thing. Then, the environment was very comfortable, the breakfast was simple but delicious, and the price was reasonable—less than 400 yuan on weekdays and less than 500 yuan during the National Day holiday. The markup wasn't high, making it a very conscientious business. The downsides were also obvious. The guesthouse truly embraced the concept of seclusion; the location was very remote. The long staircase at the entrance had no lights, so you had to use a flashlight to climb it in the dark. While the staircase inside the guesthouse was unique, it wasn't very comfortable for my feet after a long day of sightseeing. There was a noticeable odor when I opened the room door, the shower water flowed unevenly, and the bathroom door wasn't sealed properly, so water would leak out while showering—a bit of a nuisance.

Guest UserCamping by the rice fields, Daoxiangli surrounding the stove ice tea, but the weather is cool and autumn
Inadvertently hidden between the rice fragrant bamboo forest, board the second-floor terrace to look up at the sky, overlook the pastoral, 360-degree panoramic view. Summer is sultry and difficult to be, and want to cool off for summer, and greedy for the beautiful scenery of the terrace, we here opened the cool pastime of ”flake ice tea”, the wind blows the heart of rice, iced drinks, with desserts and fruit platters, so that summer also becomes gentle.
In the place where you have no intention of bringing your own isolated temperament, you can feel the ancient style mixed with the aesthetics of the new Chinese oriental, bamboo chairs, fan fans, and calligraphy and brushes hanging everywhere............ One flower, one tree and one stone, very Chinese Zen atmosphere. Add the high-value ice tea in the furnace, the atmosphere is full, the smoke is lingering, the fairy air is floating, the filming rate is extremely high, this is simply fairy afternoon tea!

The room was decent, quite spacious, and had a balcony with a mountain view. The hotel has been around for a while, so the decor and facilities are a bit dated, but it was clean and didn't have any strange odors. Dining was very convenient, and there's free parking, so overall it was good.
The hot springs were very accessible; you could go straight in from the second floor of the hotel. Various pools were nestled among the trees, which was nice, and there was also a glass walkway that kids enjoyed. The only downside was that the water in the channels was a bit cold when we went at night.
