"The restaurant boasts vibrant, healthy potted plants, with no dead leaves or debris at the base, and they're on wheels, making it easy to move them for sunlight without leaving marks. The courtyard offers four slow-charging stations for electric vehicles. The parasols have three settings and a temperature display for convenient use and adjustment. The most amusing part was watching their plump geese waddling around the patio after a good meal, looking very proud. The proprietress is an excellent cook; the breakfast noodles are handmade. The owner mentioned that his mother and wife are constantly busy, very diligent, and almost have a slight obsession with cleanliness. It was truly harmonious to stay here briefly. Jinshanling Great Wall is also a place I'd love to hike again."

"Traveling with my parents and kid, staying at the foot of the mountain was super convenient for climbing the Great Wall, and we could park our car right in the hotel courtyard. The room was quite clean, though some of the facilities were a bit old. However, you could tell it was built with high-end hotel standards in mind. The ladies who helped with our luggage after check-in were all very welcoming, and the restaurant food was quite good (chef, your cooking is delicious, just a little less salt next time please!). Breakfast was decent. For families with kids, I think this is an excellent, hassle-free choice."

"The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, fully equipped with all the essentials. The surroundings were very pleasant, and it was wonderfully quiet at night, perfect for a restful sleep. The service was excellent – warm, attentive, and they even prepared breakfast for us, which was a very thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. Their main courses were also delicious and offered great value for money. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. My only regret is not having taken any photos."

"We stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters."

"Absolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round!
Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing.
They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice.
One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so!
Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us.
Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes).
All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon!

"This place was the best after our long walk along the Great Wall. We started in Gubekiou and walked the wall until Jinshanling. The farmhouse was only about a 20 min walk from the entrance of the Great Wall which we were happy about. As soon as we walked up the owner ran up and welcomed us and showed us to our rooms. Each of our rooms had two small beds and a bathroom w a shower. Great value for your money. The family running it fed us delicious food for breakfast and dinner, were so welcoming and even helped us plan our next day hike. Would stay here again!"

"The room and hardware facilities are pretty good, and the price is honestly very affordable during the National Day holiday. . . The worst part is the lack of service and service awareness. . .
First, I booked 2 rooms, and one of them didn’t have slippers. I called and asked for them to be brought to me, and then he directly ordered me to look for them in the cupboard for a long time. Don’t you know if there are any?

"I went to the Jinshanling Great Wall in December. It was very cold weather, but I was warmed by the store. I went to see the sunrise in the morning and came back for a warm handkerchief noodles. I talked a lot with the simple boss and the proprietress. The room was very clean and cleaner than the picture. There were disposable towels and bath towels. And the toilet seat, water heater air conditioner are all new by Xiaomi, the TV is also an Internet TV, go to Beijing to play and sleep the most comfortable night, next time I will choose summer, very close to the entrance of the attraction, two or three minutes on foot"

"The rooms were clean and hygienic, the owner was warm and attentive, the food was delicious and I really liked it, and parking was convenient. I stayed for six days during my trip to Jinshanling, and the owner always made time to pick me up and drop me off at the ticket gate every day. It's a farmhouse inn with good value for money. I was particularly impressed by their braised fish, magnolia sprout pancakes, stir-fried pork with mushrooms, stir-fried gourd strips with pork, handmade chive and egg dumplings, and homemade pancakes."

"We hiked the Great Wall of China from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and chose this hotel to rest after the day. The accommodation is ideally located, right next to the entrance gate to the Wall. The host was very welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. All the beautiful photos you see of his establishment were taken by the host himself! Since we were there during the off-season and most shops were closed, the host offered to cook dinner and breakfast for us. He is a delicious cook. He also offers taxi services and was able to take us to Gubeikou train station the next morning for our return trip to Beijing. We are extremely grateful for this wonderful stay in Jinshanling and would gladly return!"

SShiwenThe ideal country may have 8 rooms in Anaya, Jinshanling, each room is unique. Our room is large, sleeping area, living area, washing area, clear partition, and a large terrace. The decoration is in a quiet style, simple and textured. The mattress was very clean and comfortable, and there was a bathtub 🛁. Because of the cold weather, there was no bathtub. I went to the hot spring ♨ the next afternoon. The service is very good and responsive. Downstairs is the ideal country bookstore and coffee ☕, the environment is super good, quiet, come back to book here next time.

SSidouOn April 30, we just randomly found a restaurant to stay at night, but it was unexpected. The boss and his wife were very nice. They waited for us at around 9 o'clock in the evening and helped us prepare dinner. The dishes cooked by the boss were also very delicious and especially suitable for our appetite. The room was newly renovated and carefully decorated. It was clean, hygienic and refreshing! I will choose this restaurant next time I go to Jinshanling Great Wall. There is a large parking lot at the door, which is convenient for parking.

GGuest UserFriendly family run place, and both father and son was very happy to assist in anything, especially advice on how to tackle the great wall visit. If you are into photography, even better as they will provide all the best advice, including getting a double-entry ticket so that you can go for sunrise and sunset shoot. The place is literally just outside the gate!!

The air is fresh. The customer service and the housekeeper are intimate and thoughtful, and they can answer at any time. The whole community is particularly clean and the cafeteria is not bad.

VVivie PanI have known the owner of this restaurant for many years. When I come to Jinshanling Great Wall, I always go to the Cui Family Courtyard for lunch. The proprietress Xiaoli is quick at work and the food is delicious. The whole family is very enthusiastic. This is the first time to stay at his house. The room is clean and comfortable. Not on the roadside, very quiet at night. It’s a great choice to watch the sunrise and sunset at Jinshanling Great Wall. The boss Er Ming is a photography enthusiast and a big anchor, and he can accompany him to climb the Great Wall.

1. There is a simple breakfast, although there are not many things, but there is no problem with eating, noodles, rolls, porridge, boiled eggs and a few small pickles, saving time than going out to find a restaurant to eat.
2, there are both slippers and traditional foam slippers, the latter bath is very convenient.
3. The front desk staff is warm and responsive.
Problems found:
1, after the bath, the water can not be drained immediately, the next day there is still water on the bathroom floor.
2. The water heater is connected to the large shower head. This shower head has a large amount of water. The hot water of the water heater cannot be supplied in the later stage, and the water becomes cold. So it is recommended to replace it with a small nozzle.
The room I live in is on the innermost side of the corridor. Under the window is Xingang East Street where the hotel gathers. It is equivalent to going to the room to go to most of the street. Haha, so the room price is cheap?
The disposable toiletries provided by the hotel are useless except for small soaps (the last picture), and the dental appliances and shampoo that you bring with you. In order to protect the environment, it is recommended that you use as little as possible disposable items. This kind of items are discarded once they are used up, which is not friendly to the environment.
