"I booked this hotel for my wife, who is Chinese. I wasn't allowed to use my trip coins. She was in town to register our Hong Kong marriage at the Hukou office. The room they booked her into was not the one that was advertised. I booked a panoramic double room but what is shown in the pictures is not what she received.
I suspect because she is Chinese she was downgraded. She said the room was old and not good. They did switch her to another room for an upgrade but it still looked like the same type of room. It was very small when compared to the pictures on trip.com.
At first, we thought this was a hotel we could stay at again when I come to Anhui to visit her family. After her experience, we will probably not stay here. I have very high standards and always expect to get what I pay for. Additionally, her reservation included the free breakfast buffet. She said the breakfast was low quality.
Also, the reservation included a free gift. She did not receive a free gift, as promised."

I called the front desk to ask if they had toothbrushes for children. The front desk hesitated and asked my companion for a long time before telling me that yes, but when the toothbrushes were delivered to the room, I was told that I would need to pay an extra 20 yuan for children's toothbrushes. I was a little surprised, because I have stayed in hotels of all sizes and this was the first time I heard this. Maybe I have too little experience. In the end, they gave me an adult toothbrush. Because we checked in late, there were not many guests checking in at that time. There were three people in total checking in, and there were two people queuing in front. The homestay is built in the Qifeng Valley Scenic Area. There are reservoirs, hills, and children's play areas. There are few people and beautiful scenery. Vehicles need to be reserved by hotel guests before entering the scenic area. The homestay is built next to the reservoir, and it is integrated with the scenery. You can fish in two steps. At night, the boss helps us process the small fish we caught. The taste is delicious. The sanitation and service of the homestay are first-class. The hot pot set meal we ordered is delicious and affordable. The dishes are grown in the yard, healthy and fresh. Breakfast is served according to the number of people, and the sun is on the poolside to taste the exquisite breakfast. It is too enjoyable. My husband and I work hard, so for our vacation, we just wanted a place with good air, excellent service, and convenient facilities where we could relax. We chose the Guanshanfang, which has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking green hills and a pond. When we opened the windows, the sounds of birds and insects, along with a gentle breeze, filled the room – it was incredibly soothing.

The hotel has an in-house restaurant that serves three meals a day. Breakfast is complimentary, while other meals are self-paid, costing around 100+ RMB per person. The menu offers a good variety, and considering we didn't have to leave the hotel, the food quality and price were acceptable.
- Service
The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Anything we needed could be delivered to our room, and they patiently answered our questions and offered guidance regarding travel advice and everyday queries. On busy weekends, things occasionally felt a bit rushed, likely because the hotel is relatively new and still finding its rhythm.
- Getting Around
For those who enjoy hiking and sightseeing, there's a mountain about 500m from the hotel suitable for trekking, with a temple at the summit. Additionally, about 10 kilometers away, you can access the Lunan Chuanzang Scenic Route for a scenic drive up to Zhaiji Mountain for some breathtaking views. My parents thoroughly enjoyed it. If you plan on exploring, driving is recommended.
- Other Amenities
The hotel features a swimming pool, gym, and laundry room. They also offer sound healing and handmade sachet workshops. Even if you don't venture out, there's enough to keep you occupied and entertained for at least a day within the hotel. I hope they'll add sports facilities like a badminton court in the future, which would surely attract even more guests.
Overall, we were very happy we chose Daiaoshanju for this trip; it's definitely worth a visit.

She also asked a little brother to help us carry our luggage. Dinner and breakfast were also eaten here. The ingredients were fresh and the taste was OK. The children on the upper and lower floors of the room were very excited. Unfortunately, the fog was very big. The stars and sunrise were not seen, but the child saw such a big white fog for the first time, saying that we lived in the cloud. The housekeeper replied to any questions on WeChat very quickly. The hotel is in a valley. The cicadas are very loud in midsummer, but the sound insulation is quite good when the door is closed. It has not been open for long. The overall hardware facilities are good. However, there is no USB charging port. I was a little dumbfounded as I only brought a data cable. The kids like the outdoor swimming pool very much and have a lot of fun. There is breakfast, but there is no other table meal except for the small hot pot. You have to drive out to eat. The hot spring pool is not open. You can experience it in winter next time.
