"Gulong Stay Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) I recently stayed near Gulong Canyon and had a wonderful experience overall. The area is surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers, so the views are absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning with mist in the valley. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm that fit the natural setting. The main attraction — the glass bridge and skywalk — was breathtaking (and a little scary if you’re afraid of heights). Staff were friendly and helpful, though English was limited, so having a translation app helped. Local food was fresh and tasty, especially the river fish dishes. One tip: bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for some steep climbs. It’s best to visit on weekdays to avoid heavy crowds. Would I come back? Definitely — especially to enjoy more hiking trails and maybe try the zipline next time."

"🛌Facilities: Basic amenities are complete. The room and bathroom are fully equipped with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, toothbrush, and razor. There are both disposable and rubber shoes available, and plenty of clothes racks. No glass cups are provided; disposable cups are used, but the cups are not uniform – some have the hotel logo, some don't. There is a simple gym on the third floor. 🧻Cleanliness: Very clean. The bedding was clean, without stains or hair. 🗺️Environment: The lobby is comfortable with a high ceiling. There is a relaxation corner and tea for clearing heat and removing dampness is available. There are many shops nearby, including noodle shops, coffee shops, and milk tea shops. "The room was really pleasant. The room was fully equipped with a safe. The bathroom was very spacious. It was almost as big as the room. The shower room and the toilet were separated separately. There was a small cloakroom, which was very comfortable. There is a sofa and desk in the room, suitable for working while walking. The children all want to stay one more night, but unfortunately the room is too hot to continue. Personally feel that the actual environment is better than the pictures on the platform, and I will come back when I have time. Buffet breakfast is a combination of Chinese and Western, beautiful environment, good staff service attitude."

"The hotel environment is good and should be considered a better hotel in Wuzhou. There is a vegetable market next to it. There is an electrical installation in the garage, but the location is not very reasonable. The garage smells quite strong because it is close to the vegetable market, so there is a fishy smell. It is also quite dirty. I stayed in a family room... The walls of the room were wet when I entered. It was probably raining in Wuzhou these few days, but the wet walls of the room indicated moisture. We set the air conditioner to the coldest setting before it worked. It is recommended to improve the service. During my two nights stay, I didn't see anyone actively greet me when entering and leaving the front desk or the cleaning aunt... I also didn't tell you which floor the breakfast was on, the laundry room was on, etc. It seemed that you had nothing to do with me after you checked in. The aunt cleaned the room very late. She went out in the morning and came back in the afternoon and the room had not been cleaned... Also, it would be better to remove the carpet under the bed. The room would feel much cleaner without it."

"The check-in process was chaotic. There were two staff members, but it seemed like only one was working. The check-in queue was long. On the first day, there was only one elevator in the entire building. Luckily, another elevator came later, otherwise the wait would have been up to 10 minutes. The room was okay, but it had a strong, unpleasant odor of sweaty feet. Also, the window was very narrow. Pros: Excellent location, convenient to go anywhere; strong water pressure in the shower; powerful flush; high-tech toilet seat; good soundproofing (rare in mainland hotels, I didn't hear any noise from the next room). Cons: Slow water flow in the shower; smelly feet in the room; narrow shower stall; and the shower glass door was very low, I bumped my head twice; no place to hang clothes in the bathroom. Overall, it was acceptable, with moderate value for money. Worth a try."

"(Premise: I'm a light sleeper, stayed for three days) Disadvantages: In the 7th-floor room near the residential building, dogs bark intermittently in the morning and late at night; the windows aren't soundproof, possibly from guard dogs kept by elderly residents. In the 7th-floor room facing Rose Lake, there's traffic noise, and even the bumpy sound of shared bicycles, but no dog barking. I can hear doors closing in other rooms and loud conversations across the hall. (Solution: 3M earplugs/noise-canceling headphones) The hotel reception provides free earplugs and bandages, but the free earplugs aren't as good as 3M earplugs. The blankets are thin, but you can ask for more. There's hair and dust in the gaps by the headboard (I found it when a hairpin fell in). There's a lingering smell of smoke when you first enter the room, probably because of the many wooden fixtures; the accumulated smoke from guests can seep into the fixtures, what we call ”third-hand smoke.” You get used to it after a while. Advantages: Excellent service! The receptionists are very gentle and patient! They are dedicated and responsible, and get along well with colleagues. They try their best to meet any requests made. The place is clean and hygienic. The price is economical. The hotel thoughtfully provided a gift."

"It's very good. I just have some time to review. The hotel looks relatively new. When I arrived at the door, I saw the photo background of ”I Miss You in Longwei”. It was quite interesting. I learned that Canghai Lake is right next to it. The location is not bad. , the hotel security guided us to park the car, and we went to Canghai Lake for a walk in the evening. The scenery was nice, and the hotel service was very good. We also provided free breakfast. The room was clean and the hardware was good. The breakfast was great. There were stuffed omelettes. When I asked the chef, I knew the name was ” The ”omelet” tastes good. In short, this hotel accommodation is cost-effective and it is a chain."

BBryan de KruijfVery nice stay, it has everything you could wish for. Walking distance from the Mt. Baiyun scenic area, many restaurants close and a cute little alleyway with streetfood only about 100m from the hotel A small note to travelers who sleep lightly. It is quite noisy, the door does not do a good job at keeping sound out. Personally I would sleep through an earthquake, so for me it didn't matter. But I imagine if you are a light sleeper it could get a bit annoying hearing the neighbours on your floor come home one by one.

GGuest User1. The location is right on the main road, making it easy to find. There's a large vegetable market downstairs, and I bought a lot of fruit before leaving. The parking lot is a little further away, underground, and has security, so it's very safe. 2. The room was newly renovated, a bit small, but the bedding was very comfortable. The water pressure was strong, but I encountered a showerhead that leaked about a third of the water. 3. The soundproofing in the room was poor. Sounds in the hallway were very clear. Although I was in a separate room from the elevator, the clatter of the elevator going up and down was still noticeable, and I could still hear it at 2 a.m. It sounded like a hammer hitting the ceiling, probably a mechanical issue in the elevator. 4. The service was good. Seeing that I was traveling with my older child, the front desk staff offered to bring breakfast.
